Emerging from the dark shadows of night the young curly-haired woman walked out from the woods. Earlier that night she had kept herself far and away from everyone she cared about. Once again her feral mind took control and she made sure to stay away from everyone during this extremely difficult time. Each time she felt off she would slip away from the Ark and make a bee line for the safety and comfort of the dark woods. Every now and then Tobias would follow her and at least make sure she didn't harm anyone along the way should she not make it to the woods in time. This was an unspoken request. The boy far too clever in understanding that the lupine did not wish to harm anyone or anything. Sometimes he would climb to the safety of the trees and observe her and other times he would leave her be to her own madness. She had yet to change and slip up in front of Tetradore. Although he accepted her within his pack under the notion that her feralness was similar to Tobias she didn't have the heart to show the emerald eyed man that he was wrong. With her mind not buzzing and fractured anymore she moved through the trees and shadows content to wander about and make her way back home to the comforts of the ship. Perhaps she would find her feline companion still curled up in the hammock they share together, eager to return to his side and feel safe and secure once more.
Yet as she walked out of the woods and made her way down the path of the park she had noticed something on the wind that made her freeze and turn still. There was a musky and bloody odor that held the tiny scent of death stained on it. That scent belonged to every kind of Dark Hunter these individuals that cheated death and made vows to destroy her kind and other supernatural creatures. It should be no surprise that they would lie in wait of Were creatures coming from the safety of the dark and thick woods wanting to capture their prey as they walked in human flesh. Bringing her jacket closer to herself she lowered her head and walked along the path, keeping her eyes focused straight ahead be ever so silently observant. As she climbed up the familiar path on the hill she noticed a familiar spot she had designated as unsafe. There was a bench beside a tree and this was no ordinary bench. Raven had discovered the hard way that the bench was actually a trap. She had brought a book and wanted to sit on the bench and it surprised her that in just a few minutes the bench gave a way to a pit with pikes in it. Although her book was destroyed she was lucky that she had telekinesis as a power at the time and was able to grab hold of her body and lift it to the top of the tree. It would seem that the same trap was set up and Raven walked quickly towards the woman, hoping she wouldn't be late. As soon as she made it to the bench hearing the girl speak to her caused Raven to nod, and without recoil, her hand snatched the other girls' as she forcefully pulled the woman towards her all the while saying gently."
"Yes, you can get off that bench."
Taking a few steps back the curly-haired woman would take her other hand to hold onto the other womans' hand as the book fell between them and she took a step back making Claire follow her. Not a moment too soon the earth below them began to tremble and Raven yanked the woman even closer to her as she took another step back, eyes widening as she watched the bench start to drop inside a massive hole. Letting go of the woman she would take a step back away from her as she peered over the gaping hole to see silver sharp spikes glistening in the mornings' first sun light. Shaking her head the woman would pull her curly locks away from her scarred face as she bent down to pick up the book, dusting it gingerly off, before turning around and handing it to the blonde. A sad small smile was given to the woman as a heavy sigh escaped her lips, as she tucked her hands into her jackets' pockets shrugging her shoulders helplessly. Her voice remained soft as those blue-grey eyes looked to the womans' brighter blue hues explaining just why she had violated the womans' personal space.
"It was a trap...Dark Hunters love this area."
