West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Life isn't fair. It is a concept that we learn at such a young age, but we ignore it. The majority live throughout their lives ignoring the fact that life is indeed not fair. They are the ones that demand that everything go their way without a consideration that perhaps their way was hurting others or that their way just simply wasn't the correct way. In Raven's case she learned at such a very tender age that Life was not fair, and instead of ignoring it, she was one of the few in this world that accepted it. As a child she had no idea why she had to suffer what she did, but now as a young adult she was beaten into a complete different being. It is possible that if she was not abused throughout her childhood she would probably be a different person today. Raven could have been enflamed with an engross amount of confidence of herself. Instead of being meek and quiet she could have been exuberant and prideful. The werewolf could have been extremely open, friendly, but headstrong when needed. She could have been a complete different person, but Life decided that her journey would be full of pain and hardship. She was beaten into a hollow shell that was timid, broken, and fearful, and untrusting of others. However, Fate decided that throughout the adversities and the agony she experienced she could be given a chance to know that Life can be fair, sometimes. Now she was in a pack where the Alpha accepted her and did not throw her in a cage locked away in chains nor treat her as if she was worthless. She had friends outside of the pack she could rely on. Though the most important being she had in her life was her best friend, the one she held so much affection for, the one that simply changed her life for the better.

In the middle of the night Raven was fast asleep within the hammock she and her boyfriend shared. Always she slept much better when he was at her side. Having him next to her not only helped her feel safe enough to sleep so soundly, but she also felt protected and sleep having his lean frame against her own. Even though she belonged to a pack that did not abuse her or mistreat her she still suffered the mental and emotional damage from the onslaught. At night she would relive each terrible event over and over again, reliving her nightmares, unable to rid of them once and for all. When Tobias was not sleeping beside her she would suffer seeing her past come to life, softly whimpering aloud, occasionally tossing and turning as if she could feel her body receive the physical punishment, cold sweat appearing on her brow, unable to open her eyes and free herself from the anguish nightmares she experienced. It is only when Tobias comes in the night to lie beside her does her body instantly relax, curling naturally towards his warm body, inhaling his scent as she slept, the nightmares instantly disappearing. A deep dreamless sleep would come and for a while she could be at peace. Raven wished he wouldn't leave her side when she slept, but she understood his antics and knew that he couldn't be in one place. Every now and then when he left her side she would wake up for a moment and watch her leave, feeling the terror instantly come back and grab her when she closed her eyes. The nightmares would return, more violent than usual, and cause her to finally wake up in relief. Sometimes she would get out of the hammock and look for her companion usually sleeping somewhere odd like on the bar countertop, along the stairs, or sometimes in the hallway. She would place a blanket over him, to help him stay warm as he slept, and sadly return to their empty hammock, afraid to fall back and asleep for the terrors that waited.

Tonight though when she felt her companion leave her side she rolled over to catch the warmth he provided, inhaling his scent on that pillow, her eyes briefly opening to see him leave and shut the door behind him. Once more her eyes would shut her body desperately trying to get her to sleep her peaceful state suddenly getting worse. Eventually she would wake up panting heavily as traces of the nightmare began to break a part clearing her mind. Blue-grey eyes looked around within the dark room noticing the door was closed. Confused she quietly slid out of the hammock her bare feet barely making a sound on the ground walking over towards the bed that was unused. Grabbing the thick blanket she wrapped it around herself, wanting to make it warm with her body heat, opening the door and wandering to find where her companion was sleeping this time. As she walked down the stairs she made sure to keep her footsteps as soft as possible so as not to wakeup Tetradore or Nadya. Eventually she made it to the base and looked around not finding him anywhere. Sam was spending the night and she knew Tobias was not allowed in Tetradore's room when the farie spent the night. Confused as where he could be she noticed the door slightly ajar that led towards the opening of the entrance to the bow. Quietly she headed in that direction opening the door and finding a familiar figure standing along the edge. A gentle cold wind blew her long golden-brown curly locks behind her shoulder, and she couldn't help, but shudder for a moment. Bringing the dark blue blanket closer to her frame, attempting to cover a part of herself that wore charcoal gray pajamas, she made a step on the dock shaking for a moment at the cold touch. Seeing his smile brought a small simper on her own mauled face pleased to see that he was okay. Yet as he turns around to look straight ahead she hears his suggestion and her eyebrows furrow for a moment. His speech was smooth, his rich baritone voice a pleasing sound, a cue that his other half was out tonight. It was such a rarity to see Tobias in such a way that for a moment she assumed this was all a dream. Yet as she made it beside him she looked up and saw that his eyes held a lighter honey-brown hue to them, and she knew that this was indeed not a dream. For a moment her arm out stretches and he could see her frame for a moment curling her arm covered with the blanket around him, leaning herself into his side, as she stood there giving him a half hug, attempting to stand this way so that he could have the blanket cover him up too. With a soft sigh she leaned her head against him, looking upwards at him giving him a tired small smile, speaking softly.

"I'm okay Tobi, but why didn't you wake me up. I never get to talk to you, like this, and although I love both of you...I wouldn't mind spending time with you like this. Have you ever seen the sunrise?"
