The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He had never truly considered, he supposed, that Raven might enjoy that possessiveness he felt over her- that both of them felt. Even if only one side so overtly displayed it. In the very least he had never considered that possessiveness might translate to some form of belonging for the woman or offer her some sense of being needed. It was hardly acceptable in any sort of human society to encourage that very possessive nature. After all it was so often associated with something almost....bestial and even though he surely felt much the same over her here and now, this side of himself was significantly more controlled. At least enough to contain himself in a sensible manner. In a way that other part of him was not. That she might enjoy that Others near animalistic tendencies was simply unexpected and yet, he supposed for all intents and purposes she too was a Were- that animalism was stronger in the both of them- those parts of her perhaps responding almost instinctively to those parts of himself. Tobias considering the idea in the very least as they walked. His features frowning slightly in that concentration before that talk shifted to those wedding plans and Tetradore's business partners. Tobias unable to prevent that soft simper touching his lips at the thought of them, he hardly held any fondness for those other men they worked with, rather, there was something almost amusing in considering the amount of ridiculous beings they so often meant and dealt with. Raven perhaps putting it lightly. The young man agreeing a moment later that they could surely do without any extra guests- that question as to his past, in some fashion, seeing the man pause even if only in some attempt to....gather what remained of those fractured thoughts. That kiss to his cheek unexpected and yet stirring that simper all the same before his head lightly shook.
"I think my childhood was.....alright, I mean, I......I don't remember anything bad exactly in those earlier years....until that accident I just....I don't remember. I remember my mother- a little."
His head shook again as they strode through that mall, the man making some effort to shift through those thoughts even if, as always, it hardly seemed to help him much. Tobias content enough to dismiss the idea for now as Raven offered that suggestion of a catholic priest at their wedding. A part of the man almost relieved Raven hardly desired to have that ceremony within a church. He was hardly opposed to churches, at least, he didn't think he was, the boy hardly capable of remembering his last time in one and yet, rather, the idea of his other half present within a church was enough to see the man scowl. As forgiving as everyone claimed God to be Tobias was almost entirely sure that Father above would not take kindly to having his church desecrated. The man hardly even sure whether he truly believed in the existence of God or not. If there was a God- then surely it was God who should pray to Tobias for forgiveness- for everything that had been dealt to him in this life and the lives of his friends. If there was a God- then he had long since abandoned near everyone Tobias knew. The man readily scowling at the idea as his gaze briefly glanced upward and towards those bright lights of the mall roof though what he truly expected to see up there he hardly knew. The man's attention returning hurriedly downward then, Tobias so unaware in that moment of that choice of words, that mention of family, that had seen Raven readily consider their own from all angles and whether or not he had any desire for children. That question it seemed, for now, hardly leaving the woman's lips as thoughts of that upcoming wedding seemed to take over again. Tobias asking after Serafina.
The name in the very least seemed almost familiar. The man assured Raven had spoken of it before and yet whether or not he had met the woman remained to be seen, Tobias asking after just that as they rounded that mall corner and headed further towards their destination, his hand nestled within her own still before those dark eyes rested upon her in clear anticipation of that query. That notion that they had met- only for him to have attacked her and her to have, probably, rightly frozen him managed to draw that sigh from him once more. God. How Raven ever made any friends was a miracle at all. Was there any he hadn't assaulted!? First Seraphina and then that uppity fellow who had turned out to be decidedly kind all the same let alone an actual Monarch. The poor woman attempted to have a social life and what did he do? Chased the away! Or tackled them or got himself arrested by their security. How many times had Raven bailed him out of jail? Maybe it was better he didn't know. Hell, it was a miracle even Tetradore was friends with him at this point. Those thoughts cascading within his own mind.
"Lovely."
That word was almost dubious, his voice very near sarcastic in response to being told of those crimes against her friends, the man sighing once more, that query of his own best man at least managing to distract his thoughts then before he nodded. Who else would he have other than Tetradore? Tobias entirely willing to admit that love he had for his best friend even if the pair hardly ever spoke of it. Jackal was at least one name he recognised even though he was mostly sure the other man hardly liked him quite as much as Tobias favoured him in turn. Those other two beings his mate mentioned however hardly prompted any response. A weapons store and a warlock? Who on earth were they? That near blank looking surely giving away that lack of understanding then. Well. At least he was making friends, he supposed, even if he wasn't sure he knew them. Still- that hardly explained Tetradore's friend from the other night. He remembered him. The one who bought the candy. Did he remember him only because of the candy? Why on earth did he remember that man and not any of the others? God this was all too difficult.
"At least I make friends- I suppose. I'm surprised anyone likes me at all though. I seem to chase people a lot."
That almost sheepish look seemed to find him then as they finally made their way into that store he had chosen for today. The door to that bright, pleasant studio pushed aside as he led them in, the young woman behind the desk hurrying to meet them with a wide grin on her face as Tobias own gaze turned to his mate then, the bright grin on the woman's face pleasing him in turn before his head tilted almost guiltily at the realisation his photograph was in at least several stores.
"Well I hope these ones are a bit nicer than those. You should probably tell me which stores those are so I don't go in them today."
They hardly needed another incident after all, Tobias chuckling softly all the same before Raven seemed to peer down at her own figure. Tobias hardly having considered that how she dressed might have any effect on those photographs. Men, after all, were perhaps notorious for not considering all that went into a good photograph. Tobias almost entirely assured he hardly minded what Raven was wearing in any sense at all. The young man assured his mate was beautiful no matter what. Tobias rarely even paying attention to those clothes unless they were, well, rather fitted. One arm lifting to rub at the back of his head.
"I think you look just fine but we could go shopping first if you wanted? There's no rush. Did you want to go to find a clothing store?"
madness, as you know, is like gravity: all it takes is a little push
