The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Serafina was well aware of that almost amused glimpse that was settled in the corners of her familiar's lips. A soft huff left the young woman's lips in retaliation and yet, she was hardly truly aggravated. Rather, that potion she was on the brink of figuring out kept her spirits rather ecstatic all the same. She was all too pleased to show Raven what she had been laboring over for the greater part of the day, the witch entirely certain that it would work this time. She had gotten close last time, a few tweaks the only thing that was required. That assertion that her friend should have her fingers crossed, however, caused a warm simper to cross her lips as Raven made an effort to do just that. Her own hand raised to reveal her own fingers crossed before the girl turned abruptly, to toss that vial with the same strength against that corner with that shattered glass. Her attention was entirely intent as that glass exploded into a pink, glittered smoke. "Come on...." She uttered softly to herself, waiting with baited breath before that first flutter of that butterfly came into view. It was only once the room was near filled with those magical creatures that the woman found herself relaxing against that work bench. Her own hand reached out, easily swatting at one only to watch it suddenly poof into smoke at her rather abrupt contact with it. It was utterly perfect. She had done it!
"You think so?" Serafina inquired at that insistence that this little glimpse of more innocent magic might sell quite well for her. Truly, she hadn't thought that anyone might want something like this. It was such a purposeless potion, something for vanity rather than any real use. It was a project she had taken on simply because it had baffled her exactly when she'd seen someone else do it and yet, now that she had figured it out, she was already considering the ways it might be adapted. "Hm....I could probably do something like...fireflies with these....or even like phoenixes or something neat." She commented, more to herself then her companion. Her stormy gaze slowly turned towards that basket, the woman nodded ever so slightly, hardly concerned by that sudden moving of objects upon her work bench. She knew well that Raven would be careful of those herbs that she brushed aside. Besides, anything that might have interacted with anything else had already been used. Presently, they were merely little more than herbs and oils and glitter. That question of her latest work, however, prompted little more than a shrug from the woman. "Not much that's very fun. I did figure out a way to make an ink that can make a temporary tattoo that moves. It's kinda neat I suppose." It wasn't often that Serafina was given requests that were fun by any means. They did come, sometimes, but they were rare.
The witch settled at that chair before her bench, simply watching as that basket opened and the contents began to make their way onto the opened space. Her eyebrows rose ever so slightly at the sight of that sushi that was spread out before her as those lids began to come off. She certainly hadn't anticipated this sort of meal though, Raven was certainly far more of a...worldly cook then Serafina herself was. Throw her in front of an open flame with wild game and she could cook circles around her friend but things like...this were out of her realm to even consider. "Hm..." She commented idly, eying that fish in front of her. She reached out, slowly picking up a piece of that tuna placed ever so delicately upon that rice. Well....it looked...normal? Ish? A small shrug crossed her shoulder before she placed it in her mouth, chewing thoughtfully. How....curious. She swallowed that fish a few moments later, those stormy eyes glanced upwards at her companion. "It's not half that bad. Good job, Raven." Even so, Serafina was well aware that it wasn't often she received things such as this. Something was up, even if she wasn't certain of what. "Sooo.....why are you in such a good mood today?" She inquired, picking up another piece of sushi without missing a beat.
