She didn't know all the rules of this so called Were fight ring but she didn't care at this particular moment. She needed to talk to Tetradore, to clear her mind. She had so many things running through her mind, so much information. Mostly from Nadya but Frost had intrigued her too, especially when he'd mentioned that he didn't have an issue with Tetradore. She didn't care that she could be ruining Tetradore's night by interrupting. Call her selfish, but this was more important. She didn't hesitate before slipping into that ring. She wasn't scared of the big black panther, the alpha of this Ark and most of the west side. She respected him, but there was not an ounce of fear in that steady gaze she fixed on him, demanding that they talk. She knew she could be crossing a line by talking to him like that in front of so many but in this moment, she could care less. She dispatched the stag easily enough, fueled by adrenaline and mounting frustration before turning her attention back on Tetradore. She didn't even think about the fact that she'd just used her teleportation skill not once but twice in just a few minutes. It was a new power she had come into and the first time had scared the crap out of her. She hadn't even had time to practice yet somehow she had just used it perfectly, probably because she was so focused on the end game. Tetradore seemed speechless. She could tell he had been about to come to her aide, his paws sliding to a stop as he stared. Finally he sighed and told the stag he would deal with him after her and she felt a wave of triumph rush through her. She turned to the stag, sticking out her tongue childishly for a second before following him out of the ring. She couldn't help but look around the Ark as they went up the stairs, her curiosity getting the better of her now that she had his attention. She took in all the different parts of the ship, noticing with growing discomfort the movement below her own paws as they climbed the stairs. It must be the boat moving in the water. It made her feel unstable and she didn't like it at all. She grew more agitated, though she tried not to show it, focusing instead on Tetradore's back as he moved further up into the boat, seeming every bit the king of the castle. She started noting the change in the decor, the wallpaper on the walls. She could smell other Were's up here and each door looked a little different now, somehow more personal. Bedrooms? Offices? She couldn't tell the difference. Her tail swished behind her in curiosity. When he stopped once they were inside his own doorway, she paused behind him, her brow rising as he turned to face her and asked what had her bothered. She exhaled. She didn't need to be asked twice. "Where do you get off telling people who they can and can't talk to? Why do you hate Frost so much when he doesn't seem so bothered by you? Why didn't you support your own sister when she confided in you that she was worried for her children? Are you just hanging out with me as some cruel joke to get back at Frost for sleeping with your sister?" It all just poured out of her as she stood there in his room, fire burning in her eyes. She was braced as if for battle but she had no urge to hurt him. If anything, she was worried that she would be the one leaving hurt tonight, just not physically. |
