West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

She liked when the Ark was quiet. It was a lot better than when there was all that fighting going on in the Arena. She couldn't stand to be in the Ark then. But when it was daytime and everyone was either sleeping or wandering around town, this was the time to curl up with a good book in the Ark's beautiful library and just go away to another world. She still wasn't sure how she was going to approach Anastasia or "win her over." She just knew that she had to do something. She couldn't just live with this big gap in her and Alexander's relationship. It was obvious that Anastasia was important to him and that made her important to Alexis. That was how relationships worked, right? Sighing, she grabbed the book Raven had passed down to her once she was done reading it, deciding maybe she'd get to finish it and find something else to keep her busy, maybe a book set more in the time that Alexander and Anastasia were supposed to be alive.

All she knew was that Anastasia liked tea parties and was pretty much royalty so that made her think of the English or British and their medieval times, with kings and queens and princesses and the like. There had to be something in the library from that time period. She wandered down the hall but was pleasantly surprised to find another scent lingering there as well. Her lips turned up into a smile when she opened the door to find none other than Raven curled up in the recliner with a book in hand as well. Her eyes lit up, glad to see her friend so happy after making it official with Tobias. They were husband and wife now. It made her heave another romantic sigh as she hugged the book to her chest. She loved happy endings and that was among the best. She couldn't be happier for her best friend.

When Raven looked up, she shook her head, a sheepish expression on her face as she plopped down on the couch not far from Raven. "No, but I'm really close. I'm completely mezmerized with Catherine's infatuation with Heathcliff but are you sure he wasn't a Were? Cause sometimes he comes off as completely feral." She smirked, hoping she sounded at least a little scholarly. She loved most of the books Raven recommended. They were always full of romance and adventure.
