A certain measure of politeness was so intensely forged into the makeup of the Asian vampire that she could hardly help the apologies that so immediately fell from her lips. Her utterance only ceased as her hand was raised sweetly to his lips, the singular action somehow serving to quite literally take her breath away. It was a good thing, in that moment that she was undead as it was. His inquiry on her name caught her largely off guard, her country's title standards were nearly non-existent here. She'd taken entirely to introducing herself only by her surname if only because those she met so often chose her given name to call her by instead if she provided it. "Chizue - if it pleases you." She offered quietly in response, the tone of her voice nearly matching his in a soft whisper and yet there was something decidedly huskier within his tones that certainly created a fluttering bashful sensation within her breast. Slowly, she pulled her hand out of her companion's grasp, softly massaging it as if his simple touch, cold as it had been, had somehow warmed her equally as chilled flesh. There was no denying this intense attraction she felt for the strange man. Somehow, he had begun to infect her every thought.
Chizue's chocolate gaze remained steadfast upon him, her eyes widening ever so slightly as he abruptly pulled his hands out of his pockets, presenting her with a rather flourished bow and a name that she would surely hang onto for weeks to come. Still, she could hardly help the simper that danced upon her feminine features at his actions, much less the smile that he had presented her with. "The pleasure is all mine." The asian girl responded with brightly, providing him with her best attempt at the curtsey she'd seen the girls on the television do. It was perhaps silly of the girl to inquire after his intents with this evening's festivities but in truth she could scarcely help it. She wanted to spend time with him, whomever he was. It was entirely new for her, this want, and yet she hardly questioned it in any regard. Her head shook from side to side, her ebony locks shifting in the simple gesture, "No, please, I would love your company." The girl responded perhaps a bit more eagerly than she should have.
His comment, however, that he scarcely had an idea of what tonight was immediately saw her lips part in an effort to explain the festivities that surrounded the pair. "Tonight is the dragon boat festival. They had the dragon boats out in the harbor this afternoon, I think. They race them." She paused, a small hint of despondency pulling at her lips ever so slightly in the process. She would have thoroughly enjoyed once to see those boats beneath the sparkling sunlight - a world that now was forever more cut off from her. However, Chizue scarcely dwelled upon this lack of life long, how could she really, when she found herself in the presence of someone so bewitching. "Tonight's parade is to celebrate the victor. They have marching drums and fire breathers and then there's the dancing dragon. Have you seen one before? They're utterly fascinating." It was quite apparent by the squeal in the young girl's voice that it was this that truly had coaxed her out tonight, the dragon a sight to behold and one she clearly wished to share. She motioned with her head ever so slightly down the sidewalk in which she had previously been watching, "It ends down there, near the Tavern." See - Chizue had thought her spot in the parade festivities through- she might get a glimpse of the wonders of tonight and then maybe, if she was lucky, by that point in time Isolt herself could be coaxed out to join her.
