The alpha of Raven's pack seemed to be heading back to the Ark. Alexis was momentarily curious of why he was in the east. She knew his pack territory was the west and he usually didn't go very far. Maybe he was visiting someone? She knew it was none of her business to ask but he seemed distracted. So distracted in fact that he hardly seemed to notice her until he about ran into her. She was about to move aside but she was so distracted by the thoughtful look on his face that she didn't think to move. When he looked up at her finally, she backed up, giving him his space. At least he seemed to recognize her. He offered a brief simper, telling her she left before he could say good bye. She shrugged lightly and averted her gaze for a minute. "Yeah, sorry about that. Things were just getting too...tense. I needed some air. I never meant to be disrespectful or anything like that. I never thanked you for offering me sanctuary on the Ark. So thank you." She made sure to look up at him when she said it, wanting it to be genuine so he knew she meant it.
He said they miss having her around and she tilted her head, arching a brow. Sure, Raven probably missed her company but she didn't really interact with a lot of the other pack members. When he asked how she was doing, she smiled. "I'm good. Just training my powers and working at the cafe." She waved her arm toward the cafe behind her. She didn't bring up her home situation. That was a whole other can of worms. Her gaze softened, brows furrowing in concern as she looked at him. "How about you? How is everything at the Ark? Are things settling down yet? Has Raven given you back her trust yet?" She wanted to make sure they had made up after everything. Raven had been very emotional at that last meeting and was unbelieving of her own eyes when she saw Tetradore. She didn't believe he was really alive. Alexis hated to think of her friend ever being upset.
