The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
He hated seeing the way her lip curled into a pout. In fact, he never had enjoyed making a woman feel saddened like that. He wished that he could make them happy all the time, but he was only one person and there was only so much that he could do. While he might want to spend more time with her getting to know her on a more personal level, at some point, he had to give into his body's cues to go to sleep. He had to build up his energy if he was going to try to find himself a new job in this place.
All that said, he still wanted to see Malia again. He enjoyed their time together. While he still needed to figure out if he wanted to date her, that could only be discovered by spending more time with her. And so, he had offered to see her again, to perhaps pursue a friendship or perhaps something more. When she agreed, he could not help the smile that crossed his lips. He was happy that she didn't find him too off putting with all his morals and values. It scared a lot of people away. Thankfully, she understood (or at least respected) his wishes.
He offered to walk her home, knowing that he needed to ensure that she made it home alright. After all, he had kept her out all night. No telling what dangers may have come out early in the morning looking for trouble. While she might be fine on her walk home, he wanted to ensure that it was problem-free.
They settled into an easy step with one another and it wasn't long before Malia spoke up, asking more about his life here in Sacrosanct. He smiled at her. "I have an apartment in town â€" it's nothing fancy, but it has all the necessities. I live by myself, for now. As for friends, I've met a few. I met two women â€" Nadya and Ellie. They both seem like nice people. I'm afraid I've not met any men I can call friends just yet." Ashton had no idea that Malia knew Nadya. He tried his best not to track scents on random strangers and had gotten quite good at not being nosey in that sense. He was just trying to be a polite gentleman trying to survive in this corrupt city. "And you? Any friends or roommates?" He chuckled. The question sounded strange on his lips â€" perhaps because he had never been used to asking a question like that. But, he supposed it was a fair one.
