The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

that everything looked this blue through Sinatra's eyes. Eleanor stares inquisitively at his hand, her eyes going over every crevice, every blemish. In her mind she was sketching. Thin, scaling fingers tense with a pencil pinched between them, the fleshy side of her palm painted in metallic lead. On paper she was crafting an original rendition of his single hand, taking time to detail the rough edges and every swollen knuckle. She wanted the viewer to see them for the working tool that they were, though his hardly looked abused or overworked. In its current position, his palm, his limp fingers were dangerous -- only soft and inviting when instructed to be. He didn't have a laborer's hands. But they weren't well-manicured, either. He probably scuffed them during his life of midnight debauchery. What all that could ensue excited her. Eleanor's brow furred as her mind was awhirl with how she planned to sketch his hands. She restrained herself from touching the one offered to her for as long as she could. But eventually, the fae skirted closer, fingers on both of her tiny paws (in comparison,) outstretched as she tenderly cupped his hand in between her own. It was important for her to register the warmth and coarse feel. She traced the outlines of his knuckles in her mind while her fingers gently tickled the inside of his deep palm. The curious gleam fled from her eyes, however, once she realized how close she was to him. She hesitated, her petite face cocked upward to look out to him atop the wall. Finally, her fingers latched around his wrist and she hauled herself back on top of the wall. When she stood, she found herself so close to his body that she could feel the warm plumes of his exhales at her forehead. She stared at him for a moment longer before taking a few steps back and plotting down into a criss-crossed seat with a wiry smirk across her lips. "I don't share my dreams with strangers." OOC: Ugh, this is so bad. My apologies. Eleanor | Fairy | Vinyl |
