East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I smiled as she spoke of attempting to lead me to the dark side, she was becoming vastly more interesting as the moments ticked past, and I found myself thinking rather full heartedly, that I damn well might throw in for the dark side, bribes or no bribes. When our hands first made contact, I could see she felt it too, that tingle of magic against magic, it was exhilarating. I wanted to ask her what her gifts were, but I felt it wasn't the right time, not yet anyway. We were about to light this dance floor on fire, so everyone better step the hell back a bit.

I let my blue eyes unabashedly observe the other woman as she began to try and get the rythm, something I noticed she did quite flawlessly. I let Amaya lead, my body moving easily around her, fluid and seemingly intuitive to her every movement. I think perhaps my powers helped a little in this, I was like a sponge, and by a little trickle of the other womans magic seeping through me, I felt like I could pick up on things more clearly.

At one point we became rather close, I decided I should ask her something then. "You can call me Ollie." I smiled softly, taking in a breath and moving in a bit closer. "What can I call my Captain?" My smile grew into a full out grin as she spin me again, an audible laugh echoed from my lips and I pulled her this time, towards me. Bringing her close, but so much she might feel uneasy, if that were to be the case.
