North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

Of course Anna's first instinct like any predator was to protect what she felt was hers. Although she recognized Damon, his attempted approach past her caused that subtle shift in her body until she was sure he was simply there as a playmate and not a challenger. Once her body position relaxed she expressed her frustration about the evening. She couldn't find who she was looking for and the person that she cornered wouldn't play with her. Both of those were very irritating indeed. Perhaps though Damon could lighten her mood and get the man to play as he had indulged in her games once before. Unlike the others he had been a willing participant and not once scolding her for her actions against the humans.

That small remained on her youthful features as she followed Damon to the office door in anticipation. When the lights flickered and went out momentarily at Damon's first game suggestion to the manager, Anna couldn't help the light giggle that escaped her. Oh she liked that trick. The man's soft whimpers and whispers of prayer were ignored completely. Anna glanced from the door to Damon, observing him closely, noting his hand twitch followed by the sound of a scream within the office and the smell of blood.

Immediately Anna's nose flared at the smell, the predator clawing at the surface for that blood. "I can do stuff too." Anna's attention though was fixed on Damon's hand gesture. She herself lifted her hand then glanced to the door, her fingers curling and wrist twitching which caused the man to be yanked and thrown into the door with a thud. Another soft laughter escaped her as she released the man's essence so he could crumple to the floor before righting himself. "I want to play hide-and-seek." She had made a decision for the man after all. The child vampire gave one wrench to the door knob so easily breaking it and yanking the door open. Her gaze immediately fell to the man's hand which he had his shirt bunched over in attempt to staunch the flow. Anna dragged her gaze upwards to meet the man's eyes with a smirk. "....Run." With Damon blocking one way and Anna blocking the foyer, it left only the stairs upstairs. She would let him take a head start, give him the illusion of hope, even though in some part of his mind he must know that he wasn't getting out alive tonight.
