North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

She surveyed herself once more in the mirror, hardly able to trust her eyes. Was this really her? She looked so different. Nadya had done her makeup to perfection, the smokey eye shadow making her brown eyes pop and her hair fell around her shoulders in perfect waves. The dress was shiny, almost too shiny, but it hugged her just right. She felt sexy and fierce, ready for anything but a fight. She'd definitely end up ripping the dress if it came down to a fight. Hopefully it wouldn't though, not tonight. Tonight needed to be low key and relaxed. No drama, no mess. Just her introducing Henry to her alpha and good friend/pack mate who just happens to be his girlfriend. No big deal, right? That's what she kept telling herself as she slowly exhaled, her hands running down the soft fabric at her waist. It wasn't as itchy as most clothes, which she liked, but she did have to focus on breathing a little more than normal. Nadya said that was normal. She might not have let the Werepanther talk her into wearing the dress in the first place if she'd known. This wasn't her usual look. She went for tank tops and flirty skirts, something she could dance in and still fight if she needed to. Dresses were a different story. She felt self conscious. When she heard the knock on the door, she turned to see Nadya and smirked, fanning out her arms. "Well? Am I pretty enough for the ball?" Her eyes lit up in appreciation as Nadya complimented her and the dress. "Thanks. I have a good fashion designer." She said with a wink before following Nadya downstairs. Frost looked all dressed up in a suit and she couldn't help but giggle a little. "Well, don't you look sharp?"

She looked between Nadya and Frost as they headed out to the car. They made quite the couple. She smiled, feeling light hearted and happy for them. Maybe some day she'd find someone like that, not that she was in a hurry or anything. She had friends, a pack...what more could a girl ask for? She scowled as she slipped into the car. "Man, this thing is tight." She muttered to herself, trying to breathe around the tightening fabric at her midline. By the time they reached the restaurant, she was more than ready to get out of this dress, or at least stretch it out a little. She pulled at the clothes a little, shifting her weight. Sighing, she bit her tongue and got out with the others, going to stand by Nadya as they waited on Henry. She had no doubt that he would show up. He wasn't the type to stand anyone up. He was the nice guy. She smiled as she thought about it. Glancing over, she caught the guarded looks between Nadya and Frost and rolled her eyes good naturedly, looking down to her shoes. They were tight on her feet but Nadya had helped her put in good insoles so they didn't make her feet blister. It was just hard to walk in heels. Clothes in general was still hard for her sometimes.

She looked up when she caught a familiar smell, her eyes already lighting up at the broad shouldered man heading their way. "Hey stranger, how's it going?"
