Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The vampire shoved another piece of candy in his mouth, sucking off the sugar coating on the small colorful piece. His indigo gaze settled on the cellphone within his hand, a small frown momentarily marring his lips. Despite the days that had passed without the fae King's presence within his home, there was not a night in which Sebastian did not at least hear from his lover, even if it was but a text with short words of reassurance that Samantha required his presence for some reason or another. Sebastian accepted such a consequence of that dinner well enough, hardly arguing with the man and instead offering whatever words of adoration had filled his thoughts instead. Tonight, however, his phone was strangely dark - though he supposed it was to be expected given the night. There was little doubt in his mind that Dorian had been dragged to some festivity or another by his roommate. Sebastian himself had been invited to several parties and too held tickets to a nearby event through which he intended to grace with his presence tonight still remained to be seen. William had left on some excursion he refused to discuss other then that he was going out with some "friends" though the vagueness of it had been peculiar enough to leave him questioning exactly who these friends were and, in turn, the vampire found himself surprisingly alone.

He had only just begun to weigh the options of his possible ventures tonight when the doorbell rang with the first of the inevitable line of trick-or-treaters, and yet, for all the effort he had so put forth in ensuring his home was properly decorated, Sebastian hardly seemed interested in the souls at the door at all. At least, not until the sound of a rather familiar voice so caught Sebastian's attention. His own darkly hued eyes immediately shifted upwards in an entirely attentive fashion. The sound of footsteps in the hallway so immediately pulled the man's gaze towards the entryway, even if he didn't shift from his position upon the sofa. The sight of the King himself brought an altogether warm simper to the vampire's features, as if his lover's mere presence managed to somehow breath life into him. It was silly really, the effect Dorian still so managed to have upon him after all this time and yet, it was inevitable to admit that Sebastian was wholly smitten. How those days away from the man so had stretched on ever so painfully so and yet- finally, Dorian had found his way back here.

His hand reached out to Dorian' offering his own to the King only to find himself entirely taken aback by that sound of shock that so left Dorian's lips. His darkly hued irises immediately sought out whatever it was that so prompted such a reaction from the man, his gaze only falling upon the grinning Elizabeth as she stepped into the room. He hardly anticipated the way in which Dorian rushed across the room, nor was he aware that it was his own presence that the King seeked in that moment of uncertainty. Rather, his attention turned only at the sound of Dorian's voice, commenting ever so hesitantly upon the cloak fastened around his neck. "Hm?" Sebastian inquired, glancing down to the fabric to brush over it with his fingertips. Even he was well aware that it was perhaps the most inexpensive outfit Sebastian had worn in nearly two centuries and yet, halloween was perhaps the one time in which his usually high standards wavered. "I am." He answered after a moment, his gaze refocusing upon Dorian as the King so struggled with those words he so wished to convey.

It was that simple admittance that, once again, Dorian so loved him that brought that warm simper back to the vampire's features. Although those words of love had been said but twice before, Sebastian still found himself entirely pleased to hear them once again, especially considering his own internal fretting that the dinner might have somehow spoiled the beauty of this. A soft chuckle so left his lips as he moved only just to grab Dorian's hand and pull the man down onto the sofa with him. "I am a vampire." He stated simply, "I had to dress the part." It was, perhaps, not exactly the sort of explanation his lover had been looking for and yet it made perfect sense to him, after all it hadn't quite occurred to the man that perhaps Halloween had not existed in some fashion or another in Dorian's day, despite his knowledge of the age gap that clearly existed between them. Rather, Sebastian found himself entirely desiring to focus upon a completely different aspect of the festivities he so adored - that of sweets.

He pulled the fae King closer towards him, his own accented voice uttering softly, "I missed you." Those simple wants for affection somehow momentarily swept those thoughts of Halloween aside entirely before Sebastian pressed his lips gingerly against Dorian's own. His first kiss was decidedly chaste in comparison to his second, his tongue so pressing softly against Dorian's mouth, asking ever so slightly for permission to so slide past Dorian's lips only to deposit that sweet treat onto the tongue of his lover's. The vampire pulled away ever so slightly, a clear note of mischievousness dancing within the depths of his dark blue irises. He was additionally ignorant of Dorian's experience with such sweet goodies, sugar, after all, was only just becoming a possibility for the peasants within his era and yet, amongst his notable traveling Sebastian had found himself on the receiving end of a never ending plethora of foods over the years. Nevertheless, his words were spoken with soft, unyielding affection as he finally uttered, in some fashion, exactly what today was about - "Happy Halloween, Ma Biche."
