Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

One eye arched neatly upward at the confusion his name seemed to bring about in the girl. The woman staring at him with clear curiosity before asking whether or not he was cold. This indication he had been attempting to afford her his moniker entirely lost. Had she truly not learned his name in any off her searches about his home? Then again, he supposed, given the veritable newness of the world she was exposed too it was hardly surprising that finding out the name of the Alpha she was bound too had not been her first priority. His eyes roll lightly, the gesture more akin to tease then any true harshness. Frost rarely inclined to genuine agitation with those he considered his own belongings. His voice distinctly calm and cool as always.

"No. I am not cold, Malia. Frost is my name. At least, it is what you can call me as the rest of my pack does."

Her own name was so distinctly added to that sentence though he saw little need to inform her of just how he had come to have it, those thoughts that lingered within her mind so affording him more answers then she would surely have cared to give and yet- such was the way with most beings. His power removed from her then all the same, affording her that privacy of thoughts as his violet gaze roved over her form with little effort to hide that action. She was pretty enough, indeed, in her human form she was wholly agreeable to the eye even if the man showed no outward display of any true pleasure in it. That sudden tapping of the woman's foot, as if impatient with his inspection, brought that simper to his lips all the same, his lip quirking upward as the softest of chuckles rolled within his throat. Temper, temper. Such a curious little being she was. His form shifted then to head down those stairs at last, Frost moving at that same laconic pace- the man hardly inclined to be rushed before strolling towards the young woman, those words of praise upon his lips as a smile found her own. This mention of her transformation so being an accident seeing one eye lift before his features formed a frown at being bound and helpless.

"Oh? Why, might I ask, where you bound and helpless?"

How she had gotten into that sort of situation remained to be seen, Frost curious of it all the same. Whether she lived within his home or not she was, for all intents and purposes, his own belonging. The idea that another may have taken it upon themselves to bring her harm was entirely displeasing. The stallion more than willing to see to it she had no further problems with whomever was to blame for any discontent on her part. Her query on whether or not he could help her return to her animal form met with a ready nod.

"Yes. I can."

It would be easier to return to her animal form then it had been to change into that human skin. Her body significantly more used to those four paws and fur, the girl far more likely to be successful in this then she was in attempting to shift from it to begin with. Any further thoughts on assisting her however were lost in the wake of that clothing she was wearing. The scent of someone, a man, lingering upon her flesh and embedded within those clothes. The scent largely unfamiliar to the snowy-haired man, this perhaps prompting his inquiry. The idea of a Were not knowing he was a Were was almost laughable. Unless he had never suffered his first transformation then to deny one was a Were was almost ridiculous. To not notice you were no longer human was hardly something that might be missed. Her question as to whether he sounded familiar met with that subtle shake of his head.

"No. I am not generally in the business of creating more of our kind. Presuming he was human to begin with then he will be the same species of animal as his creator. Unless he is a horse then there is no chance at all he is one of mine."

Whether Malia herself knew of this trend for created Were to follow the species of their Maker he hardly knew, Frost content to afford her that information all the same as he continued to regard the woman a few moments. The man contemplating that...ratty clothing with a clear disdain and yet if she was shifting back to her animal form he supposed she hardly needed it for now.

"We will do something about your clothing later. You cant go about in men's clothing. For now though- follow me this way."

He gestured lightly for her to do just that. Frost turning to stride down that hallway now and into the lounge room, the large open space surely enough to facilitate room for the woman to shift into her rather small animal form without needing to vacate to the yard and the cool of the outdoors. Frost shifted easily then to his favoured chair, collapsing into it a moment later, one leg folding over the other, leaving Malia standing before him on that rug.

"I can force your transformation, as your Alpha, but I would prefer you achieve it yourself. Forced transformation can be rather more painful although if we have too..."

He merely allowed the words to trail off, fingers drumming against the arm of that chair as he regarded her, leaving that sentence unfinished though the implication surely remained. The man hardly opposed to forcing his will upon her if need be. The stallion thoughtful a moment.

"It seems you shifted into your human form out of necessity and yet that might not always serve you well either. Controlling yourself is critical to our species, you are fortunate in that your Were form is not overly large. Smaller animals are easier to summon, or so I am told. Tell me, when you shifted into your human form, do you recall which part of you shifted first. Your hands perhaps? Your feet? It is usually one of the two. That is the part we will focus on now. Fixate all your attention upon just that single part of you that you wish to change and envision that heat of transformation over taking it. Do not fight against it. It hurts. It always will- but fearing that pain will not assist you in this."

He could be, when he chose, a distinctly decent teacher.
