Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Oh, how she absolutely loved seeing James writhe underneath his skin. It fueled her passion for teasing him tenfold. When she cooed out his name Jamesy, she watched his perfect hands clutch the brandy glass just under it's threshold of shattering across himself and the ornate rug. Seeing his immediate lifeless response, she couldn't help but have a smirk stretch across her face. She couldn't recall how many years she had been with James now. Unfortunately, she had to stop counting. They would be together until the other one met their demise. She knew James would most likely go first since vampires had a relatively longer lifespan than a hunter. She never thought about when that would happen though, it wasn't worth it to her to dwell on the future. Instead, she liked to enjoy the present to its fullest. That consisted of going out and partying every night, feeding, and being careless. Who was she to impress?
Listening to the little man prattle off about how much more enjoyable his alcohol was when she was still upstairs sleeping she continued to touch his brandy bottle. "I remember stating years ago that I don't appreciate having my belongings touched," James coldly told her. "Whoops, I forgot. Man, hasn't it been like the seventh time this week you've had to remind me about that? I must be very forgetful," she huffed happily. She heard James growl and remark that it was his. "So, what would happen if I touched myself then?" she sarcastically shot back. "Surely, I'm still your property, right?" she questioned, now a mean smile stretching across her face. As she reached across to tousle his hair she views the glass break in the little man's hands. "Oh, did somebody break another glass? Here," she teased as she tossed him a towel from across the room. He commanded her not to invade his personal space unless she wanted to be strung up and lashed. "Jamesy, I don't think that would really be a punishment," she slyly spoke, sultriness coating her lyrics. After the brief encounter with him she waltzed upstairs to get ready for the night.
Rummaging through her closet she picked out a pair of black sheer tights matching the skin tight burgundy dress that exuded her modest curves. Playing with her hair and spreading the dark lipstick across her smooth lips she turned off her bedroom light and sauntered down the corridor back to where James was sitting, broken glass creating a barrier around his chair close to the smoldering fire. She listens to him speak, asking what she was hungry for as he now rose from the chair, stepping over the broken glass, still staring at the glowing charcoal blocks now gasping for more oxygen. "I'm thinking someone heftier, who we will be able to get a lot out of. I'm very hungry tonight. Shall we get going Mr. James?" she sadistically smiled, grabbing her clutch and making her way over to the main corridor to lead them to the front hallway.
As she listened to James follow closely behind, their service maids pulled open the front door, wish them a good night, as the other maids pulled up the sleek Aston Martin sports car that swept around the circular driveway up to where they stood. As butlers opened the doors for both of them, she proceeded to glide into the passenger's seat. She knew that James loved to feel manly and drive around the expensive variety of sports cars they had. For her, she also needed a designated driver for how shit faced she was going to get tonight. Pre-gaming in the car before they made their way into town, she downed a few shots from a tequila bottle she had stashed in her flask that was hidden in her clutch. "So, where shall we go to start this hunt? Perhaps a bar? Cat's meow? You name it." She chuckled as the tequila warmed her close to empty stomach.
