Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Hold on to this lullaby; even when the music's gone

She was standing too close to him; she could tell this by the way he looked at her and the way he took a step back. Was this not normal for humans? She would keep her distance, at least arms length, which should be acceptable right? But when he said that he had 'normal teeth' she felt her curiosity wane a bit. He further proved this by baring his teeth at her and she looked at them closely. This was probably why she should keep her mouth shut, she wasn't sure what she was doing around humans, not sure how to act and what was appropriate. But it was different; her mother had used humans to frighten her children into complying. Hilarious, no? But this man before her seemed like he was just thatâ€"a man.

She hops from foot to foot, hoping he would get this going a bit faster. It was cold out and she was seriously tempted to shift again so she could be warm. Instead, she wrapped her arms around her body to try and preserve some of the heat, "My pants?" She queried again, curious as to why he was so fascinated with her pants. She tugged at them just for good measure to make sure they were fine and seeing nothing wrong she shrugged.

She walked beside him as he led her towards one of the townhomes, looking up to note the color was different then the others. It was good to know, she noticed the number too. Who knew when she needed to come back? "Thank you," Her words are soft as he directed her towards the bathroom. She followed his directions, eager to get herself under the water if only to warm her body up and chase the chill from her bones. She was only in there for moments, long enough to use his shampoo and pull the dirt from her golden hair.

She wrapped herself in a towel and exited the bathroom to open the nearest door, when she found it was a spare she tried the other and after briefly going through his shirts she was able to pull out one. Escaping back to the bathroom she towel dried her hair and changed into his t-shirt, it must look ludicrous on her and she must be swimming in the fabric and it touched the middle of her thighs. She pulled her jeans and shirt off the floor and hung them up, they were damp from the snow and she wanted them to dry first before she put them back on.

Exiting the bathroom again she made her way back down the steps and towards the kitchen, following the sounds of the pans being put on the stove. She entered the kitchen then "I'm sorry, I had to let my clothing dry..." She says, joining him near the stove. "I'd much rather have what you have," She says, pointing to his drink, "It's a pretty color."
