Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He could tell it would take some work to convince her fully that she wasn't responsible for what happened to Isolt. He couldn't let her shoulder that. It wasn't right. He could tell she was listening so he kept talking, hoping to make some progress, push past this wall she'd constructed around herself. He hated seeing her like this. She almost looked surprised that he would tell her he didn't want to lose her too. Did she not see that he considered her a good friend? That in itself was a rarity for Damon, who trusted no one and liked even less. Yet Yumi had gotten past his own barriers a long time ago with her easy smile and trusting eyes. He had a soft spot for her and he would never forgive himself if something happened to her.

When he told her that he'd have never found Isolt if not for her, he could see she was starting to see logic. It was a start. He gave her a soft smile. "It's the truth, Yumi. I was no closer to finding out where she was being held, where either of you were being hold. I was so close to giving up, and then you gave me hope. You brought her back to me." He moved slowly into her home, noting how quickly she locked up behind him. She looked surprised when he asked after Malek, though she confirmed his suspicions when she told him that she hadn't seen him in a while. He scowled, not wanting her to know just how pissed he was. She looked uncomfortable when he asked about her feeding, his brow lifting in question when she said that she met a polar bear.

He could only assume she meant a Were since the bears themselves weren't exactly native. He was at least a little happy that she was reaching out to someone, even if it wasn't her usual crowd. He just hoped this polar bear was trustworthy. He scowled thoughtfully. "Do you feed from him or is he just company? How long have you known him?" The skepticism was obvious in his voice. He needed to find out what he could about this polar bear.
