Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Her nostrils flared for a moment partly in embarrassment and in shock. Her cheeks flushed a very dark red feeling absolutely mortified. Really he had the nerve! The nerve to inquire on such private matters. He was a King and she should not be talking about such things. Why in the world would he even speak to her about such a thing? And asking if she she slept with her husband. Of course she slept with him, but she wasn't going to share what they did or how many times. It wasn't something one discussed with others, she was sure. Was this what males discussed with one another? Oh my God, she thought, is this something Tobias conversed with Jackal or god forbid Tetradore? She couldn't look the man in his eyes again if Tetradore knew. She would have to tell Tobias when she got home that they would need to keep such matters to themselves. Setting her tea cup down on the table she grabbed her fingers nervously, unsure with how to respond. He was a King and he asked her of something and she should answer. She didn't dare to look him in the eye. Instead she mumbled looking down at her hands.
Did a honeymoon really mean they ought to spend all their time together in bed? Why would they travel somewhere different just to have sex all the time? That didn't make sense. A honeymoon was meant to be a time for the two of them to be alone together, to do something fun and away from the others not to just have sex all the time. They could do that in the Ark without the others knowing. They've done that even before they were married and it was never a problem. When the conversation shifted towards her proposal of chasing the paparazzi away she wasn't surprised to hear him turn down her idea. Although his response made it seem like she didn't understand what she meant. Shaking her head in disagreement she responded politely back to him.
The matter about the tea set was something she did want to settle today. When she opened up his gift with Tobias she was flabbergasted to see such an expensive gift. Why in the world would he give her a tea set made out of gold? Other metals would have been quite sufficient. Gold seemed unreasonable and she was nervous to tell her friend she didn't want them. It was rude, she knew that, and yet she had to tell him. Although it appeared that Dorian was capable of persuading her to keep his gift. It wasn't because he thought it was improper for him to take the gift back. Rather it was the idea that he would send her another tea set probably more extravagant than the next one. That was far scarier. Nodding slowly she conceded.
Nibbling on the shortbread some more she went to grab another changing the subject towards his Father. If Dorian wanted to discuss sex perhaps they can speak about the consequences of sex, and how it involved his Father. Raven wanted to share with her friend what that man told her that one night< She was curious, she wanted to understand if she should really heed his words or not.
