Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I know some things should just stay broken

i'm well aware this should remain unspoken

A soft groan left his lips as Sterling's eyes fluttered open. His body felt...weak, his stomach rolling with nausea that made the room feel as if it was spinning even despite being nestled in the bed. Slowly, he sat upward, the motion altogether worsening that all encompassing feeling of vertigo. God, he felt like he was going to be sick. His brows furrowed as he clambered to his feet, one hand outstretched as if to balance himself as he made his way towards the bathroom. He had only just made it into the room before his stomach decided to give up it's entire contents, Sterling falling to his knees over the toilet before vomiting a tar black substance. It was several moments before he leaned back, settling on the ground with his back leaning heavily against the wall. His eyes closed, as if it might help with that awful dizzy feeling that was afflicting him.

Sterling could hear the soft pad of Henry's bare feet across the floor, just as he could hear the opening of the stubborn magnetic doors to the linen closet. Slowly, his gaze flickered open towards his ex, only for Henry to place a damp towel over his forehead. He hadn't realized how...warm his body felt until the cold rag touched his skin. "Thank you." The word was a mumble upon his lips as Henry kneeled down in front of him, only for a second rag to brush against his features. A look of brief confusion crossed his features before he glanced down at the hint of black that tinged the once white cloth. A small frown crossed his features but Sterling felt too awful to fret terribly much over his...indecent state. The offer for ginger ale was met with a slow nod before he glanced over towards his ex, "Maybe...a bit of water too?" He tentatively requested, after all, the taste left within his mouth was...utterly awful.
