Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
I wonder what it's like to be loved by you
A visible frown crossed Tetradore's lips as his fingers scrolled across the screen nestled in the palm of his hand. He was quite certain he'd kept that message...somewhere. It had been a text hadn't it? Maybe an email? It must have been an email. There had been some paperwork - albeit not much.
"Maybe they're not home?" Ryan beside him uttered hopefully as the door in front of them remained steadfastly shut.
He reached into his pocket, intending to pull out the keyring in question when the audible sound of a muffled feminine voice reached his ears, inquiring if they were here for her A/C unit. Both men glanced up and yet, the door remained firmly shut in front of them.
His eyes rolled at the mere thought of it, just as the locks finally slid open with an audible click. The door slowly slid open a crack, the young woman glancing out at them as she commented on the speedy nature of his response. Her voice, however, trailed off as she all but stared at him. Silently, the Alpha's brow pitched upward until the young woman moved to the side, gesturing them in with a vague wave of her hand. Tetradore's head shook slightly as he passed her, leading the way into the apartment. He moved with assurance through the living room and towards the bathroom, only to gesture towards the white panel in the ceiling. "It's here." He uttered to the man behind him.
The Alpha leaned in the doorway, watching as Ryan climbed the ladder (don't ask where that came from okay) to inspect the unit. Somewhere behind him, Tetradore could feel the girl's presence, hovering hesitantly in the hallway. There was...something vaguely familair that tugged at him - a feeling of nostalgia that he was quick to dismiss as a lingering memory of the girl who had occupied this flat before his current tenant. Tetradore was quite certain that if he closed his eyes, he could still catch a faint whiff of that floral perfume Samantha used to wear. Sweet pea or something? It was...strange the scent hadn't diminished more, completely overwhelmed by whatever unique smell his new tenant brought with her.
The thought, however, hardly had rooted within his mind before Ryan closed the ceiling hatch with a loud thud "Well, everything up there looks fine to me. Where's the thermostat?" He inquired, glancing expectantly over towards his employer.
The man pressed several buttons, a puzzled glimpse crossing his features as his head cocked to the side. "...I...think the thermostat is broken. It should be an easy fix, we just have to get a new one."
At least it was easy. Tetradore liked the sound of that - something that he could quickly brush off his plate when other far more pressing things required his attention. His attention turned towards the young woman, his words curt despite his efforts to be...somewhat...polite.
"Uh...Tetradore...? The ship's ready to go..." He uttered nervously, as if he was afraid of the Were-King's response.
An audible sigh echoed on the Were-King's lips as he glanced back towards the man.
