Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Her smugness and assurance in her own work is hardly missed, the girl seemingly entirely assured of the capabilities of her own power and indeed the man hardly finds fault with such a thing. A power wielded with confidence was far more useful then one that flickered and sputtered with weakness and insecurity. Her confidence in the least was appealing, the nature of the girl naturally seeming to lend to her a taint of dominance all her own- one that would need to be carefully managed and yet one that offered some value to her all the same. Her words earning little more than the lift of a single eye in response. Healing powers such as her own were not readily available to him, affording her a value to him and yet he sees no need to offer her any more reason to be proud of herself, merely content to return his arm to himself- satisfied with her efforts for now as he regards her once more with that same manner of indifference that so seems to afflict him. It has served him better, these past few years, to remain guarded with both his thoughts and emotions, his near overtly cold nature seeming to unsettle most and perhaps some part of the man took a pleasure of sorts in that. He is simply unwavering by nature and more often then not he had found it useful to read others well before he allowed them any knowledge of himself. Edie, for her part, seemed far more willing to engage then most, perhaps the girl simply lacked the reservations most seemed to hold to be so bold in their words and actions and yet desperation often saw even the shyest of creatures forced to show their hand. Perhaps it was fortunate the girl was so willing to display some modicum of herself, after all, she had proven to be of interest enough to prompt the offer he gives.

His leaning form displays little more than the vaguest interest in the matter at all, though beneath that tousled snowy hair he continues to watch her closely all the same, each subtle movement carefully observed- her efforts to compose herself hardly missed and yet for now the man offers no indication he is aware of it at all. There is perhaps no better reader of what goes unsaid then the horse, Frost hardly an exception to that as Edie seems to consider the offer, repeating his words as if they are a surprise to her before abruptly thrusting her hand forward to grasp his own in agreement. She leans forward then, Frost shifting to allow her lips to brush against his cheek, her playful smirk hardly missed as he releases her hand- her pack status affirmed, the girl perhaps already aware of the others she was now connected too through their shared bond to Frost himself, the man already aware of that faint and hidden string that attached him so easily to girl before him- her thoughts far easier to access now and yet he sees little need to make her aware of such a thing. Her surprise at his offer to allow her to return home with him seeming to have caught her far more off guard then she had truly anticipated. Hmm, it was pleasing to see her a little unsettled, the girl evidently capable of being surprised despite her efforts to maintain an air of control. A useful talent for a Beta. The manner in which she hurriedly gathers herself once more sees little more then the side of his lip quirk, a subtle, surely missed gesture before she agrees, his shoulders lifting to roll in a smooth and effortless shrug, smirking lightly at her final question.

"I suppose we shall have to wait and see."

He moves effortlessly to stand once more, turning back the way they had come now, offering the woman his arm again- the afternoon still in existence after all, Frost willing enough to keep his end of her deal as he begins to move back in the direction they had come. It is not an overly long walk, the man content to cut through several packs, shortening the journey far more than if they had merely wandered along the street- though whether the girl had the foresight to memorize where they had gone he hardly knew. The true extent of her use to him would become visible only in time, the man moving to turn at last to turn down one dead-end street within the Village in particular- gesturing briefly to the large house at the very end before continuing to stroll smoothly towards it.

"Welcome home."

He offers the words in that same smooth baritone that seems to permeate each of his sentences in that manner so unflinchingly calm before reaching for the front door, pushing it open in his wake, the pack bond surely indicating to Edie that this was indeed pack territory and by that extent- her territory, as Frost moves to lead her into the hall.

"There is clothing beside both the back and front doors, you can add your own to it. I find it useful to have clothing readily available when you return home if you've managed to lose yours when you shift."

His manner decidedly business-like now, the man practical in more than one fashion when he should decide to be. One foot moves back, kicking closed the door behind her, the warm embrace of the house readily satisfying, the more modern appearance of the outside of the building giving way to the far more natural tones indoors and the obviously wooden theme that seemed to exist from the furniture to the polished wooden bench tops of the kitchen. The young man pausing briefly beside the lounge room- perhaps the most used area outside of the kitchen, a blanket strewn across the thick carpet at the base of the couch seeming to indicate Claire had been up late once more, books scattered all about the floor- taken from the rather extensive collection that near surrounded the room- earning little more than a frown from the man for now.

"The pack tends to spend most of their time at home in here, there is a study across the hall, bathroom down there and another upstairs- the kitchen is at the end of the hall with a door leading to the backyard. The bedrooms are this way."

His shifts easily once more, hands tucked back into his pockets as he wanders into the rather large, open kitchen, gesturing to the wide staircase to the side and the landing above before mounting the stairs and heading upward.

"My room is at the end, Claire's is here, Calliel's is here, you can choose any of the spare rooms for you own, it's yours to do what you will with, you can also explore the house as you see fit. Your pack mates, as you will come to discover- are all women. If you are going to be a successful Beta then I recommend you spend time with them."

He paused, leaning against the rail of the landing that afforded a view into the kitchen down below, allowing the woman a few moments to absorb the information he had offered. It was not unusual for a pack to live together and indeed Frost was content to encourage it, it made them stronger in the end and yet the introduction of any new being would hardly be without its difficulties. It could only be hoped perhaps, that Claire and Calliel were willing enough to adjust to another edition, violet gaze returning to Edie now, one hand toying with the chain on silver amulet about his neck absentmindedly.

"If you have any questions go ahead and ask them, otherwise there are a few little.....lets call them 'matters' to discuss. After that you should have a few hours before anyone else gets home to settle in."

If she was going to be his Beta there were certain things, he supposed, that would be prudent for her to be made aware of now and from himself rather than any other- Frost entirely determined to deal with the business end of their deal today.
