Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

There was an undeniable beauty in the simper that so brightened Dorian's altogether handsome features. It was peculiar how something so entirely simple as the grin of delight could so create such emotion within the heart of the vampiric man. It was that simper that Sebastian so strove for. It created a sense of satisfaction perhaps within him, it made everything within the world in this singular moment seem far more hopeful than the Englishman had perhaps ever considered it to be. For a moment, Sebastian was simply content to watch Dorian as his gaze transversed the forested valley beneath them. It was, however, entirely fleeting before a much greater desire tugged at the vampire - the simple want to be near his companion - to touch him in the way that he had so denied himself thus far. Sebastian found himself stepping forward, arms gingerly wrapping around Dorian's waist as he leaned against the but slightly smaller fae. His chin momentarily rested upon the man's shoulder as Dorian surveyed the boundless waterfall in front of them, his words surely serving to catch Sebastian's attention. "Hm? Do you?" He inquired through he hardly pressed the topic of Dorian's home. "I am glad you like this one." Sebastian uttered softly only to step away from his companion but seconds later. After all, Sebastian knew well that such outward displays of affection were so entirely forbidden when it came to such public places though whether or not this counted he wasn't sure.

Sebastian instead settled all too comfortably within the seat on the other end of the table, his own gifts placed upon the top beside him as the restaurant's staff so rushed to cater to their every need. Sebastian, on the other hand, was entirely content to ignore them, letting his gaze remain steadfast upon Dorian as the vampire attempted to explain exactly what this was. His companion, as always, seemed to catch onto his train of thought relatively quickly, recalling the memory in near seconds as that charming simper once again so effortlessly found it's way upon Dorian's features. It was, within that moment, the vampire found himself wondering of Dorian knew of his ability to so melt hearts with just that simple smile. How many fae within his court had so fallen prey to that glorious smile? And now, Sebastian added himself to that no doubtedly long list. The thanks, however, was effortlessly brushed off the vampire, the man hardly needing any such words to so shower his lover with his affections. "It is the least I could do." He responded, adding with an all too mischievous smirk upon his features. "Your first time is supposed to be utterly perfect, isn't it?" He was jesting, naturally, and yet, such remarks came all too easily within the presence of Dorian. The man's simple presence had a way of lifting the vampire's spirits. This was perhaps exactly what Sebastian himself had needed after the all too draining sabbatical he had spent overseas.

The Englishman's crystalline gaze drifted downwards at the sensation of Dorian's hand gingerly brushing against his own, his eyes simply watching before his gaze fluttered upwards and back towards Dorian himself. A small simper danced across his features, knowing well exactly what such a subtle gesture was so meant to suggest and yet, in truth, their evening had hardly even begun. This, although alluring and intimate was but the beginning of what Sebastian had in store. This held naught but a candle to aquarium he'd seen opened only for their own benefit. It was perhaps this knowledge of what still rested ahead that caused the man to hardly dwell long on Dorian's thanks for something as simple as this, the vampire instead sliding those last two presents across the table. They were, after all, his last efforts to make up for his rather abrupt and unintended departure. His head bobbed in response to Dorian's inquiry, knowing well the man's curiosity would make tonight nigh impossible if he should so deny this. Instead, Sebastian merely leaned back within his chair, picking up his wine glass to sip appreciatively upon its contents, the man altogether silent as he watched Dorian unwrap the first and larger of the two gifts.

The first gift was perhaps particularly unsurprising. Sebastian had, after all, noticed Dorian's interest within what gave the Englishman such an enticing and memorable scent. Although Sebastian had picked out one from his own selection that he thought best suited his companion and yet, there were many that were far better suited for the King than what Sebastian owned. This expensive bottle was one of those he had picked with care amongst a whole room of scents just for Dorian. "I thought you might like one for yourself." He uttered softly, a small simper crossing his features. The second box, however, was far smaller than the first, this one perhaps a bit more personal and decidedly...risky then the cologne he had purchased. Rested inside that black velveteen fabric was a smooth, polished Tiger's Eye, the gemstone wrapped in a golden wire that was connected similarly to a finely crafted golden chain. "I'm afraid I never have had a reason to keep my family's crest on me but...perhaps this will make do until we return to Belton." Sebastian's gaze remained entirely settled upon Dorian, merely watching the man's reaction as he finally returned that which had been so generously offered to him. There was little that such a pendant would afford Dorian, even if it was the coin of his family's and yet, perhaps the simple affections that came attached to it would be enough - perhaps the knowledge that Sebastian's home would always be Dorian's sanctuary would be enough.
