Abigail Hughes
It was absolutely baffling to Abigail that someone might take offense to being called cute. It was, she was certain, like the best compliment EVER. She'd rather be cute then nothing at all. It hadn't occurred to the young girl that there were things past cute, you know, like beautiful and sexy, much less that she'd ever want to be those kind of things. The idea of being tiny and deadly, however prompted a giggle on her lips, even though she had no idea what dynamite was. She supposed this lil wolf wasn't too bad, she seemed very sweet! Still, she could hardly help the way her hazel eyes eyed the dead rabbit at the wolf's feet. She hardly blamed the woman for being a were, or a hunter, or even eating like their animal halfs do, rather, Abigail could hardly help the thought that she was hardly much bigger than that rabbit down there and she definitely didn't want to end up dead. Her large hazel eyes watched as the wolf girl took a seat, curling her big floofy tail around her. Even the wolf hardly looked all that scary when she was all curled up attentively like that. Hm....she supposed that she believes the woman's promise not to hurt her.
It was with a small nod to herself, and that pinky promise, of course, that finally coaxed the little panda from those tall trees. The small critter jumped downwards to one of those lower hanging branches, well within reach and yet, not quite eye level either. It was an itty bitty tiny precaution....and Abigail didn't always like looking up either. Sometimes she wanted to be the tall one too! It was, perhaps, in an effort to make herself more valuable that prompted the girl to admit that she was capable of cooking. Even if it wasn't quite the sort of cooking usual for this particular country. Still, the sheer idea of someone who could COOK seemed to cause her newfound friend's eyes to brighten significantly. It looked like poor Malia was not used to an actually good home cooked meal. That is, until Malia mentioned cheese fries - whatever THAT was. Her head tilted slowly to the side as Malia began to explain the contents of that dish. Cheese and....sticks? Well....Abigail liked cheese but she wasn't sure about putting cheese on sticks. How did one cook sticks? Maybe she would have to learn about this sticky dish. "Hmmm.....maybe I can find out how to cook it and next time, we can have it together?" The little Panda offered, assured that this was a perfectly acceptable way to make a friend - over food. Cause who didn't like food?!
Abigail hardly anticipated to be asked what she liked to do for fun. The entire question threw her off, prompting her to pause ever so slightly. Back home, she spent a large part of her time either attending school, planning for the future, listening to music, and helping her family. Without the modern conveniences of the industrialized world, there was much to be done to fill her free time, prompting little time for her to dwell on those personal hobbies. It was only after a moment that she answered that she liked to read, after all, there had never been a television in her hometown, even the internet had been harder to come by, dependent upon the weather, the wind, and the satellite on her home's roof. "I've never watched the television." Abigail admitted, her ears twitched ever so slightly. "I know lots of people like the television....what do you like to watch? Should I try it?" It was a curious idea, at the very least. It was, however, that nature that always had called to Abigail. She was used to running around the mountain side and the forest of her home. It was only natural she too enjoyed getting lost in these woods! A grin twitched across her features before she shook her head. "I bet you'd get them EASY PEASY. They sometimes fly too high for me....but I still try!! I bet you're a super good pouncer." Her tail flicked behind her, as if the young woman was too considering proper pouncing technique. She was a good pouncer too. She liked to pounce! Even if she wasn't a fast pouncer.
