South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

She certainly drank her shots like a woman who knew what she was doing. On any other night, he might be playing up his charm card and seeing just what else she could do with those experienced lips but tonight he was just here to drink away any thoughts or where his life might be leading. The vampire who came to rescue the one he was trying to help escape did a number on him and left him for dead but somehow he understood that if the guy really wanted him dead, he would have just done it. It was almost like he was setting Christian up as a hero who survived the bloodbath. But he didn't account for the coven's suspicions of anything too lucky. That's all it was, he assured them. Just luck that he survived. So they healed his wounds and made him think they were convinced...all up until they stormed into his hotel room, threw a bag over his head and dragged him to their dungeon where they commenced their sacred torture for 13 days.

Yeah, he really didn't want to be thinking about anything right now, even if she would make for a very nice distraction. If only she could stop talking about the damn ghosts. He promised himself he would keep the booze coming. He intended to be wasted tonight so she could either be wasted with him or start declining drinks, either way. She seemed almost disappointed that he wasn't your run of the mill heterosexual man, but her brow lifted when he assured her that he was open minded, as long as he knew what he was playing with. She played like she was interested, though he didn't even know what she was interested in anymore. His wellbeing or his bedroom etiquette? Did it really matter? Hell no, not at this point. At her question, he chuckled, his eyes taking on a darker more heated tone. "All the kink you could handle, or can't, in some cases. My command is your pleasure." He growled the last words, his lips curling knowingly.

The witch seemed far too amused by this conversation and he lifted a brow, wondering if there was more to it. When he joked about the ghost's apparent death by hanging, he could see the wheels turning in her head at his suggestion before she said it would be unfortunate. He glanced over toward where he thought the ghost might be and shrugged, offering a wry smirk. "That depends on who you ask. Maybe she died happy. There are worse ways." He watched with amusement as she goaded the ghost about taking a literal piece of his heart before she made the conversation more sober by bringing up why the ghost was worried about him. Death didn't scare him anymore. He had nothing left to lose, not after losing Keith. At her words, his eyes narrowed a little, surveying her for a moment before he snorted and took another shot. "Maybe I want more than death. Maybe I want to be punished." His eyes darkened for a new reason this time as he waved the waitor over with more drinks.

Then she brought up what Keither would want and he couldn't help but laugh. "Keith had a sense of humor. Who knows what he would want? I certainly don't anymore." He smirked but it came off as more of a grimace. "You know...cause I killed him." Then the witch said something about destroying the coven and he laughed even louder this time. "You have some balls, woman. I'll give you that. The New Eden is one of the largest covens in the world. No offense but I don't think you're quite up to the job." He lifted a brow, watching her expectantly.
