Nadya thought nothing of it as she set out Frost's clothes before moving on to her task of the fire. She was surprised she had retained such information on how to start a fire when as a preteen in girl scouts she had been so against having to learn something she thought she'd never have to use. How things have changed. Once that fire was established and roaring with life she settled back to nibble on the jerky she had packed for herself. Nadya eyed the bag Frost handed her, glancing within before a smile graced her features. "My hero." Now whether that was a compliment for Frost or the coffee itself was unclear.
The young woman had begun to think that whatever Frost had wanted them to see wasn't going to happen as the night sky showed only stars. Either way it was beautiful though and she enjoyed the moment at his side with the warmth of the coffee tin between her hands. That silent fireworks of light across the sky made its appearance in due time, casting the sky in green and pinks to be reflected by the black mirror stilled water beneath. How could one not be drawn to their feet by such a magnificent display? Nadya left Frost's side to wander up to the edge of that water. She remembered well his warning to keep out of the water. It wouldn't do any good for her to perish of cold before even getting to their destination.
Once the immediate awe had left her system, Nadya returned to Frost's side, asking after the brilliant display. Nadya had limited exposure to different beliefs. Her head shook slowly in answer. It seemed like pretty magical stuff that Frost spoke of but if a man could be swallowed whole by a whale and survive then why not? She took a moment consideration before voicing those inner musings she had about their possible future together and any child it may hold.
Nadya certainly hadn't expected Frost to say he wished to live here for a while. How long was a while? What of their pack back home? Would the girls leave Sacro to join them or would her pack be split once more? Those uncertainties flitted through her mind though they hardly held any reason for fretting in the moment. Frost's lips upon her skin pushed those worries aside, dragging her back to the present. Nadya smirked as she willingly tilted her head to allow Frost better access to that smooth skin of her neck. A soft giggling shriek left her lips when Frost suddenly swept her onto her back. Immediately her arms reached up around him and her fingers weaved through those wintery locks that the lights above tinted with their color. How easily he could stir that want. Whether it ended in a child or not, if tonight was to be their last night, she'd like to remember it with the touch of him. "Let's see what we can do about that then." She giggled and pulled him down to seal his lips with hers.
That sun which woke her the next morning was truy undesired. Nadya rolled over with a gruff to press against Frost's side. "Five more minutes." It was always what she grumbled in the morning. It took a moment to remember where it was they were as she blinked the sleep from her eyes and stretched through that pleasant soreness in reminder of their night. "I'll get the packs together." Nadya pressed a brief kiss to Frost's lips before slipping from the tent to gather their things for the rest of the ride ahead.
She was quiet the entire time as they packed, rehooking everything with ease back onto Frost once he shifted and settled in the saddle for the journey once more. The slight nervousness of what they would face, the unknown of it, it what kept her quiet and reflective as they traveled. It wasn't until the distant sound of horses and voices reached them that she spoke. "...Is that it?"
