The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

I smile gently at her whisper about wanting to live up here. I look around and offer a light shrug. "Well if you feel like pitching a tent, have at it but it might get a bit lonely. And I hope you have a good sun block." I smirk teasingly, trying to lighten the mood. She looks off over the cliff, seemingly lost in thought and I wonder what she's thinking. Luckily the serious moment is broken when she splashes me with water and then I rush toward her with practiced ease, lunging for her and my arms are victorious in enircling her tiny waist as I lift her up some as we both dart forward toward the water. I hear her gasp and wonder briefly if it's from surprise or something else. The feel of her cool skin against mine is distracting enough in itself before you add in sounds. She clutches at my shirt and I smirk despite myself even as we both fall toward the water. She looks a little scared as we fall and though I wish to console her, I know I wouldn't have time before the water would be upon us. We manage to fall into a more shallow part of the creek, Isolt pinning me since I made sure to have my back fall first, not wanting to hurt her upon the rocks at the bottom. The landing does sting but I've gotten good at not showing pain responses. Especially since there's no need for a quick inhale or anything since I don't breathe. I know that any bruises will heal almost instantly since I've been eating good so I'm not worried about it. The position we're now in might make others suddenly awkward but she looks anything but. I can't say I mind the position at all. She looks around as if in surprise before finally looking down at me. I offer her a playful smirk, my eyes gleaming even beneath the surface of the water. She slowly gets up and I almost feel disappointment that the moment didn't last longer. She goes above the water and I join her, watching as she tries to tame her firey locks. I resist the urge to reach out and do it for her. As she moves toward me, I raise a brow in curiosity, grinning easily at her question as I shrug. "I'm just fine. My body has taken way worse than a few rocks in a riverbed." I try to assure her with a wink. She reaches out and I stiffen a little, my eyes closing briefly as I feel the cool touch of her finger tips moving my hair aside. She slowly pulls her hand back and that's when I open my eyes again, a gleam of something darker in their inner depths, something only she has been able to draw out of me. A hunger of a new kind. She smiles shyly at me now and my face softens instantly, watching as she moves to glare and lecture me about her make up. I snort and step closer. "You don't need makeup. You're beautiful just the way you are." Without thinking, I reach out, caressing the side of her face with the back of my hand, trailing it down her cheek and following her jaw bone to her chin before slowly withdrawing it. I lean forward before I can talk myself out of it, my lips aching to touch hers if just for a moment. I don't know if she'll pull back or let me but I dare to try anyway. If she does, the kiss will be soft and gentle and I pull away before she feels the need to. My smirk will be wide and victorious, my eyes gleaming triumphantly as I move away and toward the cliff. "And now...I can die a happy man." I put my back to the cliff and raise my arms, looking up into the night sky before I fall backwards over the edge. I let myself fall into a backwards dive, knowing the water at the bottom is deep enough since I've been diving from it for weeks now since I found the place. I fall with a large splash and when I resurface, I'm laughing. The feeling is always freeing when you jump from such heights, especially knowing that if you were human, you might not be breathing right now. I look up, wondering if she's worried. I know she has good enough eyes to see me from up there so I give her a wave. "Come on in, the water's great!" |
