The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

Kato Buhari
Kato knew it was a difficult thing he was asking of Edie, to be herself but ease into it...at least where his mother was concerned. He wouldn't call his mother old-fashioned, she just knew the troubles that came from mixing species. With a sigh he played with Edie's hair, deciding that now they were being afforded a chance to breathe from all the commotion that he could translate for her some of what had been going on. The children were perhaps more outward as they tended to be commenting on things that were new and curious for them. "Some of them understand." He explained gently, "The older children do. There's a man who teaches school to the children once they turn 6. Older siblings sometimes teach younger ones and parents but there are adults that don't speak it; some of the older ones refuse...they think it taints our culture and heritage." But that conversation was for another day. Kato fell quiet as he continued to soothe Edie into sleep which seemed to come easy enough after the past few days' exertion.
Kato had fallen into a hard sleep as well but woke easily after a few hours. The sun had nearly set from what he could tell by the color of the sky through the small window. He could hear the preparations for the celebration outside of the drums thumping softly and heavy logs being tossed into what would become the bonfire focal point. Kato shifted slowly to glance down at the still sleeping Edie. She looked so peaceful he didn't want to wake her; she had been through so much already he was sure she needed her rest and would sleep through the night. Carefully he detangled himself from her and slipped from the hut. Just like earlier, he was received with open arms and praises for his safe return from the herd-members. One of the faces he was most happy to see had returned from gathering was his sister's. She reminded him so much of Edie with her feistiness and resilience to the expectations forced upon her.
Once the sun had fully set the fire had been set ablaze and towered nearly as high as him, the celebration was in full swing. The drums and singing combined had a truly hypnotic pull that you couldn't help but dance to. Kato went from dancing with the men to dancing with his sister, laughing and jesting with her as the bodies around them spun and beat the ground as well. The children were even in on the celebration, no one of course left behind, swarming about in their own little dance moves to the rhythm that called to them. It was Mosi who noticed Edie and popped over, tugging slightly at the fabric of her shorts. "A ga o batle go bina?" The fire lit up his features which were alight with excitement. "...Do you want to dance with me?" It didn't seem like he was really going to wait for an answer as he grabbed Edie's hand and tugged her closer to the fire and into the midst of the celebration. "Come on! It's fun! You just move your feet!"
Kato didn't notice Edie until Mosi had pulled her closer and he caught his girlfriend from the corner of his eyes. His attention veered from his sister, his smile still plastered on his face, excusing himself from his sister's side to go over to Edie and Mosi. "You're awake. I thought you were going to sleep through the night." Kato ruffled Mosi's hair playfully before looking back at Edie. "My sister's been asking to meet you." He motioned to the woman he had been dancing with. "Come, I want to introduce you." Kato held out his hand for Edie, completely unaware of what emotions could be brewing inside.
