The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Abby suddenly seems wary of talking about whoever brought her to the Ark, as if she thinks I'm interrogating her or something. It's really just my endless curiosity kicking in but oh well. If she doesn't want to talk about him anymore then we don't have to. She does seem intrigued at the thought of people living on the Ark though. I smile warmly and nod. "Yeah, I do temporarily anyway. There are rooms more toward the interior of the boat but I sleep near the basement. It's warmer there." I shrug.
She thanks me for showing her the exit and I giggle and shake my head. "No problem at all. It's nice to run into someone who's not enthused about violence and bloodshed." I smile as I walk. It's hard to find good conversation on a boat that caters to fighters. Since Raven is spending most of her time with Tobias now, I have no one to hang out with really so it's nice to have a conversation with someone that's not about pack politics or relationships or fighting.
I listen and nod as she tells me about her short stay here. I remember when it was all still fresh in my mind the first time I came to Sacrosanct. Everything was so bright and new. I had never been on my own before since running from my home pack and I was scared to death of everything. I didn't want people touching me or talking to me. I would shrivel at the thought of someone looking at me too long. I wonder how she's liking everything.
"Yeah, there is. A lot of the people here are friendly though. You just have to figure out who is sincere and who is wearing a mask." I think of Frost, how nice he was to me at first before he started manipulating me, telling me he was making me stronger when really he was making me a murderer.
She gets excited when I ask her about friends. Her excitement is contagious and I find myself giggling more instantly. She says that she has two and even holds up her fingers. I laugh. "I bet they are. Well I'll be your third if you want." At her question, I grow thoughtful for a minute as I consider. Raven, Alexander, Edie...I guess I don't have that many at all. "Three that I can think of off the top of my head so no, not many. But I hope to change that. Will you help me?" I give her a warm smile.
We make it to the door and I wave her on through, following after and nudging my head. "Well that way is south. Want me to go with you? I don't mind."
