West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Spring was slowly starting to push Winter away. The green grass was slowly starting to grow and the colorful flowers would pop up soon enough. The warm fresh air to breathe had a delightful taste to it. The jungle cats that called the Ark home were eager for Spring and Summer to come. For far too long they were locked up within the warmth the Ark provided. The lupine didn't care much for the seasons in which the sun stayed out longer. She was more eager for these seasons to end so that Fall may come again and she could see the beautiful colors of the leaves when they changed again. Most of the staff and pack were running out and about enjoying being outside for a change. Just a few weeks ago another layer of snow fell down and shut down the city. Everyone seemed to think that this was it, the beginning of the better weather months. She should be outside enjoying the sun with her mate. Yet she declined his offered and suggested he spend some time with Tetradore. Let the two of them go out and about and have some fun.

With the Ark pretty much empty during the day that gave her the chance to do whatever she pleased. Today she wanted to spend some time alone and keep her nose stuck in a book. Though she wasn't reading her books for pleasure. No, she was doing some research. Ever since her wedding reception she was puzzled about something. There was something odd about that Dark Hunter that stayed at Alexs' side. Curled up within the comfort of the worn-out leather recliner there was a rather large book settled within her lap. With a heavy sigh she looked up from her book and stared out the small window. Later tonight it was her turn to run around their territory on patrol and she knew she should lie down and get some rest. Even though she really wasn't that tired yet. With a frown she looked towards the table beside her grabbing that cup of tea and taking a sip. Setting the cup of tea down she grabbed a cracker and began to munch on it as she looked back and began to re-read the sentence she had been incapable of focusing on for the past few minutes. It was the sound of approaching footsteps that caught her attention. It seemed she wasn't the only one that wanted to stay inside. A wiry grin appeared as Alexis came into the library with a book in hand.

"Did you finish that one? I wasn't sure if you could enjoy it or not."
