East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

That way in which the man at her side so effortlessly justified his useage for that journal he kept wholly intrigued the demure vampire. Her head tilted ever so slightly to the side, the action shifting those straight brown locks as she contemplated this very facet. She supposed she could understand the appeal of a diary solely for the purpose of so relieving those fleeting cherished moments. It was perhaps, not peculiar, she supposed, that her own life seemed strikingly lackluster in comparison to his. He must have had many moments that, seemed small, but were of decided significance. After all, he was much older then her, aged and elegant like a nice wine while Chizue was only still attempting to adapt to that undead world she'd been virtually thrust into. She had a whole world of eternity to look forward to, daunting as it was. "Hm...maybe...I will get a journal and try it..." She commented in her idle contemplations, before realizing she was speaking more to herself then the man in front of her. A small, warm simper crossed her features as those depthless chocolate eyes refocused upon him, "Thank you, for sharing this with me." Chizue spoke quite solemnly, after all, surely such minute details of one's life were a decidedly personal thing, were they not?

It was with relative ease that the young woman brushed off Damon's disappearance from their lives. After all, if things were well enough between the man and Isolt, she scarcely had a reason to lament their loss of him. Who was she to resent him for leaving them? She was certain he had a reason for his actions, even if she didn't ask after them. Still, Chizue hardly expected the fashion at which he leaned closer towards her, his voice dropping more akin to a whisper as he spoke of what sounded more like a conspiracy theory then any factual event. A small frown traced her lips, her eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly in the process, "New Edan?" She inquired, effortlessly able to put together his fears that their so called prophecy might align with Isolt. "But vampires can't have children. It's impossible." And indeed it was, they were dead, not capable of producing life, why anyone thought otherwise seemed wholly unfeasible and yet, perhaps cults often were from the beginning. "There might be stuff online about them, if they're a fairly new cult it's unlikely you'll find anything written in books...even then..." A small shrug crossed her shoulders - cults rose and fell with such frequency that she'd never truly taken much an interest in them. They were so...melodramatic. Maybe she should have been more concerned and yet...cults such as this rarely saw fit to act, she was also assured there was more than one vampire in the entirety of the world with red hair. The probability of them finding Isolt and focusing upon her alone was hardly enough to be worth their attention. Besides, when she failed to produce a child, the cult would likely move on like they always did to their next object of obsession.

Rather, it was the box she was presented with but moment's later, the ring within entirely breathtaking, despite its vintage design and decided age. A soft gasp left her lips as she eyed it, all too quick to reassure the man that it was, indeed, perfect for the woman they both cherished. Cautiously she pulled her fingers from the ring, watching as the man closed the lid and slipped it back into his pocket until, quite likely, later tonight. A small simper crossed the young girl's features as Damon so reassured her that her opinion actually mattered on the topic at hand, even though she was quite sure he would have been perfectly fine without it. It was, however, the question of friends that so saw the young girl hesitate, entirely uncertain what Damon would think of Kohl. In truth, she was quite fond of the atypical Dark Hunter and after but the briefest of moments, Chizue found herself uttering of the evening she'd spent with him, helping him hunt in the process. It was the notion that their kind was nearly always on the top of the Hunter List that caused her head to nod in understanding, even though she sincerely doubted the kind-hearted man would raise a finger to hurt her. "I will be, I promise." Chizue responded softly, a small smile of reassurance briefly crossing her features. She scarcely bothered to explain Kohl's decidedly tender nature, knowing well those stigmas of those deemed Hunters. Rather, the girl instead turned the topic of conversation towards the townhouse she shared with Isolt, though knowing the two would soon be engaged, she doubted she'd be welcomed there for long. Chizue hardly saw the need to dwell upon such a dismal thought, however, instead presenting the man with a firm nod, "I'm sure Isolt would like that very much!"
