She liked the sie of Ashton she was getting to see. He was more playful, more outgoing. He taunted her right back when she tried to mess him up or make him miss. And in the end, she had a feeling she didn't just win off of pure skill or even luck, for that matter. She wasn't going to push the matter, though. He still looked like he had fun and she couldn't stop smiling. She was pretty competitive, after all, so winning always felt good. No matter the situation. When he stopped to look at his watch, her face sobered and she followed his gaze to the glass doors where she could just see the first tell tale light of the sunrise coming. She knew their time was drawing to a close and she didn't want to end it, not yet. She was having so much fun, but he was starting to look drained. It was too bad her friends couldn't have as much energy as she seemed to have. At his words, she scowled, her bottom lip jutting out a little in a pout but she nodded and sighed as she stepped outside with him. "Yeah, I guess so." She muttered. When he asked if they could do it again, she turned back to him with a grin and nodded. "Yeah, of course! And I have fun too." Then he asked to walk her home and she smiled a little softer, her brow lifting as she walked beside him. "I would like that." She tried to say in a polite voice like she'd seen in movies. She knew he genuinely was a nice guy and wanted to make sure she got home safely and it meant they'd have a little more time together so that was nice too. As they walked toward the west side, she realized there were still some things she didn't know about him. Her brows furrowed as she glanced his way. "So where are you staying in Sacrosanct? Any roommates or friends yet?" |
