The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Money wasn't exactly an obstacle to the ex-pop star, even if she didn't particularly like to spend it. After all, she hardly graced those stages any more, reducing her capability of bringing income back into her bank account. What was spent was now gone for an eternity until the broken demure girl regained the confidence she once had wielded so effortlessly. It was a shame her band had been unwilling to work with the schedule thrust upon her. Maybe she just needed to make a girl's pop band filled with vampires. Now that would be interesting. It'd probably sell really well. The nagging little idea invaded her to-do list of her impending move, her thoughts a chaotic spider's web that jumped from one thread to the next in a dizzying form that only teenage boys could truly master. It was a by-product of her last feed - one that continued to manifest in ways she hadn't anticipated. Her thoughts refocused on the task at hand, however, at the soft rumble of her companion's voice. His offer was...unexpected, but certainly not unappreciated. "Oh? You do? Text me their info?" She inquired almost naturally, hardly considering that she'd yet to offer the man her phone number, much less have any sort of phone related conversation with him.
Her apparent impending move, however, was hardly the only thing upon her mind. Chizue launched into a chatty outburst about the woes of her life - the likes of which would have caused her parents to stare at her in horror. To so openly discuss such problems was all but forbidden within her culture. Those westernized ideals so easily pushed upon her, leaving her burying her companion with every wayward thought - ending, most importantly, with the 'dull' color of her hair. Oliver seemed to stare at her blankly for several moments in the aftermath of her rambling, her inquiry going unanswered as he struggled to find the words. His response, when it finally did come, was nothing short of appeasing, even if it wasn't the answer she had expected. Chizue could hardly understand his appreciation for what she thought was such a common shade....but still, if he liked it...then she would keep it as it was. Maybe she should just cut it instead.
With that matter almost decided, the business tycoon moved onto a topic that entirely caught the little vampire off guard. For a moment, surprise fluttered across her features as she considered her answer. A warm smile abruptly burst across her lips before she nodded eagerly, his concern brushed off with a renewed bubbliness that was so foreign to her. Instead, Chizue placed her hands on the table in front of him, her feminine figure leaning upon the wooden surface as she declared her newfound plan to quit. The money she was making here was parsley at best. It was hardly worth her time when she wasn't even wanted anyways. Her demand that he join her, however, wasn't fought in the least. How easily he agreed to her abrupt whims! And oh how she appreciated it! Enough so that the girl was determined to see his order placed and his food retrieved before she walked out of the only job she'd held down since her transformation. Immediately, Chizue turned on her heels, moving with purpose towards the kitchen to submit her final ticket.
Chizue moved with quiet efficiency as she inserted the order into the point of sale system, certain it'd be printing out in the back of the kitchen in mere moments. Her hips swayed as she stepped away from the computer system, the girl fetching a tumbler from the back of the bar before filling it with more cognac then was surely acceptable for any bartender, not that she would be here much longer for any to reprimand her. Swiftly she returned to the table she'd so abruptly departed from, his glass placed in front of him before the young girl settled in the bench across from him, her chin placed upon her palm as her dark chocolate eyes turned towards him expectantly. She watched as Oliver reached for his glass, only for the man to comment upon the celebration they apparently should have been having...at least until the man's thoughts became preoccupied with how, exactly, he was going to eat this meal that had never meant to be 'to go'. Her hand rose with a small flick of her wrist as she brushed aside his concern. "We have packets of plastic cutlery we put in every to-go bag." She reassured him, his worries entirely moot. Her gaze flickered down to the amber liquid within his glass as he brought it to his lips, only to watch his features inquisitively as he silently savored the sip he took. His dark eyes, however, turned back upward towards him over the rim of his glass, his very inquiry saw her gaze scurry towards the window, her head inclining towards the side in consideration. "Hmm...well there's some benches over by the fountain at the City Creek Center. I figured you could eat your dinner there?" Chizue offered, truly having not considered what she intended to do with her new found freedom for the evening.
