East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

So the little Fairy was going to stay afterall, was she?

Wonderful.

When the laughter from them both finally died down the small, simper of a smile remained on Animal's lips as he watched her. His grey eyes did not leave the female Fae once as she released herself from the crouch, watching steadily as she continued to remove herself a few healthy steps back from the wall. Animal commended the choice. Sometimes you could tell a poisonous snake wasn't necessarily going to strike right away, but that didn't mean you wanted to crowd around it, either. Smart.

Animal remained in place. The longer their small, strange little interaction continued the more it made him contemplate. What ever was he to do with her? Like wild animals crossing the same species in the wood and duking it out before civilly acknowledging each other's existence, Animal acknowledged the creature before him and the question she posed earlier. Hmm. His body shifted just slightly on the ledge, a hand coming up to push the sunglasses from his eyes to rest on the top of his head. Instead of looking at her Animal seemed to glance away momentarily, his grey graze drifting upwards towards the sky, though there was hardly anything worth while to look at. One was never able to see the stars when they were this close to the city - not that he was a star-gazer in the first place.

"Is this the sort of thing you dream of?" He asked in a musing tone, as if perhaps he might simply be wondering out loud. That impish little smile returned as he looked down at her, this time extending his hand - and it seemed - a place on the wall for her yet again. Animal's eyes glinted, head tipping downwards slightly as he studied her. There was nothing baited about the offer and yet it seemed there was all at once. A quiet challenge, a hidden test, a silent dare... a harmless offering, though his expectations remained moot in the dealings of Fae.

have you no idea that you're in this deep?
I've dreamt about you nearly every night this week
