North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

He was all about going for what you want. After all, he'd fought for everything he ever wanted throughout his own existence and he tended to respect those more who were determined enough to fight for what they want too instead of expecting it to be handed to them. He had had a run in with the vampire who likes to hunt other vampires and really, he didn't get it. What was so appetizing about drinking lukewarm blood from the veins of vampires when you could be drinking it fresh and warm from humans? He was determined to show Arlo what a real meal was like. How could the vampire have existed for any length of time just hunting his own kind? Surely he had run into a coven before that didn't take so kindly to it. Surely he had been almost killed for it before so why keep doing it? Why not look for an easier way or watch other vampires, for crying out loud? He really didn't get it.

He was tapping his foot and growing rather impatient while waiting for a witch or at least an attendent or someone to come see to him when he started getting a funny feeling of some kind of power not too far from where he was. He tilted his head, wondering who that could be and he was sure he could feel the fear of humans and then he could literally hear their screams. He poked his head out the door to see a bunch of cars careening off into the night, women screaming and people running out of the hotel next door with their hands over their heads like something was going to fall on them or something. Amusement danced in his eyes as he smirked and slowly withdrew his head back into the Witchery. Now he was really growing impatient and soon enough his curiosity would win out and he would have to investigate. He really wanted to learn more about the New Eden but it seemed that was not going to happen tonight.

Suddenly the night seemed to go silent but he swore he could pick up on the tell tale signs of someone whimpering from the hotel next door. Disgruntled guest shooting up the place or what? He knew he could hear a lot of racket earlier but it seemed to have quieted down. Hmm. He was beginning to itch to go over there and check it out for himself but he didn't have to go far. Soon enough he saw a familiar crown of golden hair coming toward him and his eyes twinkled right back at her when she peeked around the corner and told him that no one was here. He chuckled and looked around.

"It would seem so. And yet you seem tickled pink in entertainment. Surely you have something or someone putting that color in your cheeks or you've found a new game to play. Either way, color me intrigued."

He grinned at her before making his way into the hotel, brushing past her to glance toward the office door.

"Hmm, seems someone lost their memo of getting the fuck out. Do I need to remind him?"

He made a show of heading toward the door, curious to see what she would do.
