The last time she had been out on a date with Frost was long before she had joined his pack. It had been unconventional, surprising really, that he had taken her out to a picnic under the stars rather than to a restaurant. Restaurants were the classic fall back for dates so it had warmed Nadya to him at thinking outside the box, showing a piece of his true personality. Nadya stood in front of the full length mirror in their bedroom, taking one last look at her long black dress with a plunging neckline and matching black strap heels. Her hair was thankfully returned to its natural color and lay over her bare shoulders. "Zip me up?" Nadya swept aside her hair as she suddenly addressed her boyfriend.
Once done, Nadya turned around to place a quick kiss to his cheek. "Don't you clean up nicely." He looked ever so handsome in his black and white vest suit. Her fingers brushed through his icy locks in adoration before stepping away. "I'm going to go check on Malia. We'll meet you downstairs." Tonight in all respect was about Malia, her and that boy Henry that she seemed determined to keep around. She had practically shoved Malia into a shower on those nights she came home smelling of the Nightshade pack before Frost would come home. That was before Frost had met with her brother and although she didn't know the details of the conversation, some truce had been drawn from it. It was enough that a dinner invitation had been extended to Henry. If Malia and him were going to keep at it, then Frost had a right to size him up, to see who was mingling so closely with a member of his pack.
Nadya came to stand in her packmates doorway, a soft smile lighting her features at the sight before her. Malia didn't have any dresses before tonight so Nadya had been all too happy to take her out earlier to get one. Nadya had taken on the role of fixing up Malia's makeup before allowing her time to dress. Now, seeing it all in the finished package was like seeing a completely different person. The purple of the dress complimented her skin tone and hugged her curves nicely. "Are you ready?" She came up beside the woman, grazing her hand at Malia's back. "Frost is downstairs. We should get going; we don't want to miss our reservation." She handed Malia the matching clutch bag and guided her downstairs.
The drive to the restaurant was short and soon enough they were standing outside in the pale street light out front. The time was ticking on and Nadya was beginning to think Henry wasn't going to show. "Can you let them know we're here? Make sure they don't give our table away." Nadya glanced towards Frost with a strained look of worry. She honestly hoped this boy was late and not standing up her packmate. Things would not bode well if he did. For now Nadya would wait with Malia for as long as they could.
