Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It was certainly not uncommon for the Were girl to have returned from a night out - Kato certainly didn't enjoy the claustrophobic feeling of clubs, yet - to have her boyfriend asleep within her bed. Often, she'd simply press a kiss to his lips before she curled up against his chest and let sleep take her, too. He slept like the dead - a fact she'd discovered in Africa when she'd lay awake by the smallest noise and he would sleep right through it. So when she'd flung herself onto the bed and on top of him, she hardly expected that he would even stir. And yet she'd pressed her lips into his skin and prodded for him to wake him up. But it seemed as though it hadn't been necessary for her to plead at his waking up, her state had done that all on its own. The giggle that escaped her lips was cut off by the man rolling away from her to turn on that blinding light. "Katooo," She groaned as she pulled herself to a sitting position, her eyes blinking rapidly as she adjusted to the new light source in the room.

"I was out," She grinned, her accented voice slurring as she spoke to him. "I went to a club, and I..." The rest of the night was so blurry, her mind struggling to latch onto the details of the evening in her inebriated state. She merely giggled, leaning forward to drag her fingertips along the skin of his chest. For a moment, she was completely oblivious to what he was talking about regarding to the bite on her neck - it had been so long that she hardly remembered the wound on her neck at all. It was only when his fingertips forced her head to the side that the details seemed to lock on, and the girl smiled. "Oh, this," She reached up to touch the bites - or at least near them, her coordination didn't quite allow her to touch the wounds exactly. "I made a friend. A vampire friend. He was so nice." She smiled big at the memory. "He hadn't had dinner. I offered." She giggled and pulled herself in closer, sliding easily onto his lap.

"That's where I was all night. I told him that if he was going to drink, he was going to make sure I had fun," She chuckled, her fingers running along his skin. He felt so warm compared to the dead corpse she'd spent the evening with. The heat was intoxicating, her fingers enamored by the feeling. She was oblivious that the man might have been annoyed with her or worried. She always came back to him. She always would come back to him. But she still couldn't deny herself the pleasure of nights out, of getting the attention of others when he was busy. "He let me drink from him, too," Her eyes sparkled as she looked up at him, completely oblivious to the crazed way she must have looked. Her hair mussed, her eyes unable to focus on anything, her cheeks flushed. Her voice slurred and her heart raced. "Did you know that their blood is a drug for us?"

"Enough about my night," She cooed, leaning down to close the distance between them. She pressed her body into his, her lips finding his after a moment. "I missed you so much," She slurred, her hands moving to stroke his skin as she kissed him before she leaned back. A little too far, as she lost her balance on his lap and sent herself backwards onto the comforter. She giggled as she landed on her back, looking up at the man. "Stop spinning," She chirped, throwing an arm over her eyes. "Everything spins." The vampire blood in her body seemed to have had too much of an effect on her, the girl very nearly gone from the experience as her body struggled to keep its composure.
