Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Nadya Tetradore
Good God why was she here. What could have possibly possessed her to think this was a good idea. Oh...right...Mr. Blondie. Frost had lured her from the Ark several days ago needing her help. In the beginning he had dismissed it being she was closer than his home but then he had admitted his feelings for her. Well, admitted them in his own way which was far more than he had ever done in the past. Nadya could still feel it when she closed her eyes, the weight of his hands on her hips, the nerves over her skin that alighted under the caress of his lips, and the scent of him filling her senses. It had been tinged with the copper of the blood from the wounds she had healed which caused a subtle twinge of displeasure still in the young woman. How different that night would have turned out should she not have found him.
Nadya had decided to make a detour from her route to the Burlesque into the residential area. She hesitated at the edge of the residential border before stripping of her close and letting the fire wash through her veins as the shift took over leaving the young woman in her black overlayed spotted jaguar form. Her panther's golden gaze swept the sidewalk for signs of any others but found it empty in the neighborhood given the hour. Most that lived in this neighborhood had jobs that they spent all day at in order to afford these places. Softly her paws fell one in front of the other towards the end of the street where Frost's house was situated. She didn't intend on actually interacting with him; didn't want him to even know she was here. No, Nadya simply wanted to...see him, to see that he was still alive after his injuries. Although Nadya was fully confident in her ability to erase whatever had been wrong with him (she had felt her power spark stronger than it ever had before during their make out session) there was still that inkling of question given how unpredictable Hunter's injuries could be.
Although Nadya hadn't seen or been told where exactly Frost's pack house was located she had heard what neighborhood they resided in. From there it was a simple as following the path that lingered his scent. It wasn't too hard, that cool woodsy scent that was wholly him was established enough up and down this block's sidewalk from his many treks about town. The fresh scent there indicated that Frost had left towards town which meant Nadya had an opportunity. She loped easily across the street over to the neighbor's bushes to clamor into the small space between them. Here she was determined to wait and watch for Frost to return and satisfy her need to see him. For once this was the first time she sought him out. Her thin tail curled about her haunches, the tip flicking against the dirt in slight impatience.
Unfortunately the scent which gathered in the breeze wasn't the one she had anticipated. It wasn't entirely know to her but it was...familiar. The direction of the scent bothered Nadya as it was coming from someone behind which meant Nadya's only way out was forward yet that meant closer to the rival packs home. So that left us right at the beginning, wondering why she thought this had been a good idea. Nadya gruffed softly as she stood and slunk out from between the tight bushes. It would be better to face something such as this head-on rather than be lurking and perhaps be assumed that she was planning an attack on them.
