Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Edie was entirely aware of the way that every single fiber of Nadya's were form seemed stiff and poised for attack. It was that alone that had her telling the woman to wait before she went into the pack house. She was tempted as she stood in the doorway to let Claire know that Nadya was here so that Frost could be informed, but instead she shook her head. No, until she knew the intentions of the woman that waited outside, she would not inform her Alpha of her presence. Frost was, whether he wanted to admit it to her or not presently, still weak and healing. She had no idea what he would do knowing her presence was near, but he needed to rest, and Edie was determined to keep him in bed as much as possible. As such, she merely grabbed the clothing that she kept just inside the door and headed back out to the panther, tossing those clothes at her feet.

Her intentions were entirely pure as she spoke to tell the girl that she wanted to speak to her, even if Nadya's form remained just as disgruntled as ever. She saw the tension in the woman's form as she spoke about her love for Frost, and she frowned instantly. "Don't be like that, of course I love Frost, he's my Alpha," She spoke before she turned on her heels, walking towards that path without glancing back at the woman. Of course, what she wouldn't admit to Nadya was the way that those feelings ran so deep within the girl. But she had Kato, and what kept her from truly acting upon it was the love she held for him. It ran deeper than anything she felt for Frost, and even now she wished she was wrapped up in his arms in bed instead of here with Nadya. But Kato was at work, and her duty as Beta held her here.

She was not far along down the path before she heard the crunch of the leaves behind her. She didn't turn her head, instead remaining quiet until Nadya fell into step beside her. She glanced over at the woman and the folded arms, a nod on Edie's features. "Yes. And I was serious about the truce. You can relax, I'm not going to attack you. I think you sufficiently proved that you could take me in a fight." She glanced over at the woman, though there was a small smile that existed on her features. "Though Frost is a bit fond of me, so I wouldn't, if I were you." She paused in her words as Nadya began to speak, assuring the woman that she wasn't spying on them.

"I know," Edie said gently, crossing her own arms across her chest in the same way that her companion did. After all, the weather was quickly giving way to the colder temperatures and the air was rather chilled on her skin. "I know you're not here to spy. You're here to check on Frost. He... he told me what happened." Edie's voice continued with that serious tone. As much as she wanted to hate Nadya, she couldn't deny the gratitude she felt towards the panther. "And I have no intentions of you not returning home tonight, Nadya. You don't need to worry." She sighed, pressing her fingers to the bridge of her nose.

"I wanted to say thank you," She said quietly, looking straight forward as she spoke. "I won't deny that it... hurt... originally... to know that he went to you to be healed instead of coming to me. But I know he wouldn't have made it home otherwise." Finally, her gaze returned to the girl as she slowed to a stop, giving the panther the full weight of her emerald hued eyes. "The past few days have been... a relief... I couldn't..." She shook her head. "I woke up in the middle of the night and just had this intense pain. And then it was gone. He turned off our pack bond, and for t... two days, all I could do was worry..." She shifted, her fingertips raising to her mouth. She chewed softly on her fingernails as she remembered those helpless feelings that had plagued her so.

"If it hadn't been for you, Frost wouldn't have made it home." Even she couldn't contain the tears that filled her eyes, and even as she tried to blink them back they spilled down her cheeks. The emotions seemed to catch up to her in that moment. All that worry, all that fear, all that relief. Even in the days since he'd been back, she'd taken to sitting up nearly all night in the chair near his bed, not relaxing even a bit just in case he needed her. The exhaustion that plagued her had her unable to conceal those emotions, and as such she turned into a near weeping mess in front of the other Beta. Great, just another reason for Nadya to think she was weak. "T-Thank you."
