Anacosta Heights

Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

There were so many things Henry wanted to do in this moment. He wanted to pull Sterling into his arms and kiss him like nothing else mattered. He wanted to talk him upstairs and fuck him until the sun set. Unfortunately, no matter what Henry wanted in this moment, his body was betraying him. His body was so physically exhausted that he could barely hold himself up. Not to mention, his body ached like nothing else he had ever experienced before. He needed to talk some Alieve when he finally made it upstairs. Something told him that no amount of Alieve would make him feel less sore. But what did he know? He didn't understand anything about what had happened to him.

He felt his eyes close softly as Sterling leaned down to press their foreheads together. Henry enjoyed this small moment of sentiment, even if he did wish there was more he could do. His words brought a smile to Henry's lips before he kissed his lover, taking in this moment with all in his being. "I've missed you too. I knew there was a reason living with you felt so right." He felt like they were just picking up where they left off. He wasn't going to let a moment of hormones ruin his relationship. Henry had done his own cheating so really, they were even. None of it even mattered anymore. They were here now and that was all that mattered.

Henry heard the shuffling in their building and he sighed. He needed to get back up to their apartment. Henry, momentarily forgetting that he was naked in the street, suddenly realized he wasn't wearing any clothes when Sterling moved to cover him. He couldn't help the exhausted chuckle escape his lips. "I'm surprised you've been able to hold yourself together. If I remember correctly, you could barely keep your eyes off me when I walked the apartment naked." He had so many good memories of their life together before all of this. He was excited to start again, to enjoy the next few months together. It would be strange and different, but he was confident they would eventually find their rhythm.

Sterling spoke, asking if he could make it back upstairs and Henry nodded weakly. "I think I'll be okay...but don't talk about shifting. I still don't' believe or understand what you've been saying." Henry wasn't trying to be difficult, he just found it so hard to believe. He wrapped his arms around Sterling, using him as a crutch as he tried to lift himself off the pavement. He tried to keep the blanket around him, but his muscles felt like jello and he was having hard enough time trying to stand that his nakedness didn't really bother him. He was confident in his body. Who cares who saw him naked.
