Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

As Henry began to stir on the couch, he was trying to piece the events of last night together. He still couldn't remember anything. It was frustrating at best, but at least he had something else to think about: Sterling. The memories were still coming back to him in waves but it was a lot better and less fuzzy than earlier this morning. He remembered the good, the bad, and the downright ugly. He remembered being happy with Sterling and he remembered crying in the shower. He remembered it all.

It was these memories that encouraged him to get up off the couch and go to Sterling. He really wanted to pull Sterling into a warm embrace and let him know just how much he loved him. He wasn't mad at Sterling, quite the opposite really. He wanted Sterling to feel how much he really loved him. Even still, as he stood from the couch, he wrapped the blanket around his hips. He may love the man who was currently walking towards him, but he also didn't want to rush into anything. This were still new and fresh and he figured it would be best to ease back into their physical relationship. Walking around the apartment naked was definitely not easing into anything.

He smiled as Sterling asked how he was feeling. He pulled the male into a hug, letting his lips press softly to Sterling's. He let his lips linger there for a few brief seconds before he eased back. "Much better. But man do I need a shower...and some clothes." He could smell dinner cooking and one look at the skillet told him that he still had a few minutes left before dinner would be ready. "I'm going to get cleaned up before dinner's ready." He leaned forward and kissed his forehead softly before he pulled back and turned towards the bathroom. It absolutely killed him that he left Sterling standing there alone. He wanted to shower with Sterling, but he knew he had to wait until Sterling was ready. Henry would be patient. He loved Sterling that much.

Henry slipped into his bedroom, grabbing some clean boxers, some loose fitting sweats, and a comfy t-shirt. Entering the bathroom and closing the door behind him, Henry placed his clothes on the bathroom counter and then dropped the blanket on the floor. Water was turned onto the warmest he could handle before he stepped into the warm water. The hot water felt great on his muscles and it helped to relax them. He wasn't sure what happened last night, but damn was he sore today.
