Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The young man's gaze remained wholly upon his companion as he made his way from the balcony towards the sofa where Henry was lying. He watched as his companion began to rise, wrapping that blanket around his waist with far more care than Sterling had anticipated. He remembered well what Henry looked like without such fabric separating their bodies and yet, the memory only brought a pinkish hue to his cheeks. For the past few months they had been nothing but roommates, friends even and now to find out that Henry was once his and perhaps still was? Sterling found the whole situation difficult for him to so separate the man he is now from the man he was then. What now existed between them? Were they going to pick things up where they had left off? The whole situation made Sterling entirely nervous and yet Henry's arms around his body had a fashion of soothing those fears as he relaxed into that embrace. His lips brushed softly against Henry's, a small simper crossing his features as Henry pulled away from him enough to answer that question that had so lingered between them - was Henry okay?

He could hardly deny that he was entirely overjoyed to find that Henry was feeling far better than he had been but hours prior and though he stayed true to his promise to say nothing that had occurred of the days before, he could hardly help the concern that so clutched at his heart that his companion might be forced to go through this every time that shift so overcame him. Still, he did his best to keep such worries from his facial features, instead nodding ever so slightly at Henry's insistence for a shower and clothes. "Take your time..I'll get dinner finished." Sterling offered, providing his companion the smallest of simpers as his gaze flickered closed briefly at the touch of Henry's lips upon his forehead. Sterling's bright blue eyes flickered open, remaining steadfast upon Henry's retreating form as the man made his way down the hallway to his own room and their shared bathroom.

His own attention turned back towards their dinner, the man effortlessly finishing those plates with a noteable ease, plating them with the same delicate care before he balanced both plates upon his hands, moving towards the sofa to place them on the coffee table. For a moment he simply paused, staring at those plates only to return to the fridge to fetch a beer from the fridge, the man somehow simply knowing Henry would relish in the touch of alcohol in his system after all he'd gone through. Moment's later, Sterling settled on that sofa, ignoring the chairs at the bar only out of some lingering desire to be close to his lover, even if he was still struggling to discern how he was allowed to treat Henry now that they both knew well what they had once been to each other.
