Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellingtonfor pleasure seldom has a cure

It was perhaps, of no astonishment to anyone that Sebastian had taken advantage of every spare moment in which he was provided with his lover's attention in the wake of that month long vacation. For weeks he had been shuddering at the thought of the loneliness of that bedroom once they returned to the metropolis and yet, even that apprehension hardly compared to the reality of the situation. It made falling asleep difficult, and yet, every morning that sun still managed to steal him away despite the restlessness that often overcame the man in those hours alone. That steady thrum of Dorian's heart beating against his finger was perhaps the only reassurance he held when the King was not within his own walls. Tonight, as he wandered those Eastern streets in search of his meal, his fingers tenderly rotated that ebony ring against his finger, a small simper crossing his lips at those feelings of affection that simple presence of that ring could so coax within him. His bright blue eyes turned upwards, eying a young woman across the street that strolled with the same lackadaisical pace as he did. Hm...she would do.

His gaze shifted along both sides of the street before the man crossed to the other side, a warm simper still settled upon his features as Sebastian's own affinity reached out to the girl, embracing her with that lust he was so effortlessly capable of crafting. In mere minutes he had the young woman pinned against the brick wall of the apartment building beside them, her hands digging at the folds of his shirt whilst his lips found the skin of her neck. He could hear the soft moans upon her lips before the phone within his pocket started to vibrate, causing his eyebrows to furrow. Without removing his mouth from her neck, Sebastian reached into his pocket, pulling up the display screen only to see his lover's name and picture upon the front. His eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly, his tongue licking that wound as he stepped away from the woman, urging her to be silent whilst his thumb flicked at that green icon. "Good evening, ma Biche." He uttered, that small simper blossoming upon his features at the sound of his boyfriend's voice. That grin momentarily wavered only at Dorian's insistence that he visited that Western flat, much less that the Monarch required his help. It was only with his assurance that he would be there soon that the pair finally voiced their goodbyes. He slid his cellphone back into his pocket before stepping forward, his teeth gingerly re-opening those wounds upon her neck to so finish that which he had started.

It was nearly half an hour later that the vampire finally arrived at the front door of that apartment, one of those guards determined to follow him up the stairs as if fearing the vampire somehow capable of harming himself walking up to that flat. He paused before that door, a soft breath leaving his lips as he so steadied his own nerves. It was in unspoken consideration that Sebastian so rarely stepped within that flat, the women within his lover's life neither particularly liking the man very much and yet, clearly whatever had occurred was...problematic enough for Samantha to accept his presence tonight. He was determined, for what it was worth, to not worsen the girl's thoughts upon him. Softly, he exhaled that breath he'd been holding before he gently wrapped his knuckles against that door, altogether aware that his lover would surely be waiting for him. He hardly anticipated the fashion at which the interior of the apartment was kept from his view, though, in truth, he hardly considered it greatly as the fae King propelled himself into the Englishman's arms. A soft chuckle left his lips as he drew the fae King close, that simper crossing his features once again now that, he was assured, everything within his world had found its rightness once again. "I've missed you too, mon amour." He uttered softly, clearly quite amused with the unexpected exuberance within that simple greeting.

The dissatisfaction within the King's voice was entirely unexpected, the vampire's eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly, though how the house itself could be 'broken' as Dorian had put it, he hadn't the slightest idea. "Broken?" He inquired, his head tilting ever so slightly to the side in the fashion it so habitually did when the vampire found himself considering that which he scarcely understood. He hardly had a moment to inquire further upon the state of that household, however, before his crystalline blue eyes met the silver of the King's. It was a peculiar look that crossed the vampire's features in the wake of that admittance, a glance that spoke of muted surprise and yet, a hint of concern within it's depths all the same. On one hand, he found himself elated by the news, if only because it surely meant his presence here was far more permissible, or, the simple fact that, perhaps, Dorian scarcely had to leave his own home altogether. And yet, as quickly as he felt that joy, he found himself altogether guilty that whilst his lover had lost his best friend, Sebastian was far more intrigued by how it might benefit him. Furthermore, Dorian had clearly seen fit to keep this from him for a reason...hadn't he? Maybe he wanted a place to retreat to? "Oh." That word fell briefly from his lips in the wake of those emotions that beset him and yet, even that was lost in the wake of that push of the apartment door and the darkness that existed beyond.

For a moment, his blue eyes swept over the state of the flat. It hardly looked kept in any fashion, the smoking bulb certainly a concern and yet...was that the sound of water he could faintly hear from within. The sight of those crumpled blankets upon that leather sofa accompanied by the the drawer on the floor only further added to the unexpected picture. "...oh...." That word left his lips once again, the vampire instantly understanding exactly what sort of 'help' his lover so required. It was the mention of that bug, however, that drew his gaze back towards the man in front of him, content to provide him with a rather blank stare. Those insects hardly bothered the vampire in the slightest, though his homes were often kept in a more impeccable state if only because he disliked remembering those points in his life in which he'd been forced to accept their presence. Nights he'd spent in cemeteries and mausoleums to escape the sun before he'd fully had a place to rest his head. Still - a singular bug hardly explained all of this. "....just...one?" He inquired almost uncertainly, an invasion he could understand, but one?

He watched as Dorian leaned against the wall, that soft sound of failure upon his lips. A soft sigh left his own lips as he finally stepped into that apartment, letting the door close behind him. "If I knew you were calling me over to do actual work, I would have brought Charles and Elizabeth." The man offered, his voice holding a mock complaint and yet, he fully intended to ensure that home was back to it's former state of glory, before he provided his lover with the option of that little present he'd so been dwelling upon for nearly a week now. "We should take care of the water first, if it hits any sort of electricity, it can ki --" He paused, his gaze shifting towards his companion in consideration. That deadly combination could stop most hearts but...Sebastian himself was dead. It was unlikely Dorian even knew what harm that lethal combination might cause on his own physique and, frankly, Sebastian hardly wanted to find out. "It can be very bad." He finished after a moment before he reached out, his fingers gingerly brushing against his lover's chin, raising his features only so his lips could tenderly brush against Dorian's own. "We'll fix it all, okay?" He muttered softly in reassurance, "Why don't you show me your utility room, love?"
