Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

There was no denying that Chizue had changed. Her once warm demeanor had somehow retreated deep within the girl, leaving her a shell of fear and paranoia and guilt. And oh how full of guilt the girl was! She could hardly help the belief that, somehow, she shouldered some of the blame for all that had happened to her Supreme. If only she had been stronger, if only she had stayed, maybe, she could have helped, or made a difference? That soft sigh left her lips as she eyed the man on his knees and yet, she could only imagine how difficult it must have been for him - when he had finally gotten to Isolt. Those words were uttered altogether softly on her lips, the girl more than willing to admit the things that she had to be sorry for. It was those very things that brought tears to her eyes when she awoke from the nightmares that plagued her in the depths of the day - when she should have been lost to some sort of deadened sleep. Her chocolate eyes fluttered towards Damon as he so vehemently disagreed with her, declaring Isolt's safety as his responsibility. A small glimpse of confusion crossed her fair features as Damon assured her that her death would have so radically affected him, had she stayed with Isolt in some vain effort to free the girl. She hadn't realized he cared so greatly for her welfare.

She listened in silence as Damon made every effort to reassure her, to tell her just how her escape had inevitably led to Isolt's own salvation and yet, that uncertainty within the depths of her chocolate eyes was clear all the same. "I guess...." Chizue muttered softly, certainly not sounding entirely convinced and yet, she hardly tried to argue either. Gingerly, Chizue pushed the door open, asking him if he'd like to come inside. For several moments, a sort of silence seemed to exist between the two before, slowly, Damon finally nodded. She held the door open for him as he crossed the threshold, only to securely close it behind him - locking out the world from the small townhome that had become her sanctuary. Chizue was almost unsure, admittedly, of what to do now that the man was within the depths of her home, entertaining had never been her specialty. In fact, whenever he'd visited before she'd been all too content to retreat to her room and allow Damon and Isolt their privacy as much as possible.

The man's idle inquiry of Malek however, caused her chocolate eyes to shift upwards towards him, accompanied with a small glance of surprise. She had forgotten that Damon knew him, from that night that she had first found her way home. Her head shook ever so slightly, her ebony locks shifting with the small movement. "No, I haven't seen him in a while..." She admitted, only to prompt a small shrug upon her shoulders. Chizue was hardly oblivious to the way her answer seemed to produce a sigh upon his lips and yet, it was the question of her feeding habits that caused her to shift uncomfortably in front of him. "Um....I guess it was...three weeks ago? I met a polar bear...he comes to visit sometimes." Oliver had, perhaps become her closest friend in her isolation, and in return, she made sure her kitchen was stocked with foods he might find interesting, especially when she hardly needed such nourishment to begin with.
