Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
His Royal Majesty
Dorian Ellington-Aragona
The King of Italy
In all the responses the Fae King had so anticipated to his very suggestion upon just what honeymoons were for he had so hardly considered that very response he was given. Raven, so momentarily, appearing very near baffled by his words only to ask whether or not he was quite certain honeymoons were supposed to be spent in bed. Dorian's own features shifting into that look of confusion then as he so sipped at that tea. His features remaining ever inquisitive as Raven so begun to express her veritable condolences for his ill health. Dorian , in fact, rather certain he had never been ill. It was a veritable perk of both immortality and his species after all- much the same as Sebastian. Indeed the only time he had ever felt ill was so surely that evening in Spain after he had awoken from that party the night before with a headache unlike anything he had ever experienced in his time. A hangover, Sebastian had called it. Dorian assured he never desired to experience one again. Sinful thing it was. Any sort of true illness that might render him bedridden however was distinctly...impossible. Raven suggesting that perhaps they might try that honeymoon again if only to make up for it. Hissilver gaze meeting Raven's own once more then with that very frown. Those accented words gentle and yet wholly curious all the same as he returned his tea to its saucer.his head shaking ever so slightly then.
"Why on earth do you think we were ill? It is not possible for either Sebastian or myself to fall ill. I should not think anyone is supposed to be sick on their honeymoon at all, I think- oh. Oh my."
That very realisation of just what had so confused his companion at last seemed to dawn upon the Monarch. That sudden, near sheepish grin seeming to find his features before that warm, genuine laughter so fell from his lips. Raven, it seemed, had so entirely missed the purpose off his words and too that very....innuendo of sorts! That ready laughter, a mirth taken far more at the confusion of the situation then at Raven herself, died down then to that soft chuckle as Dorian so regarded her once more. Surely she was not so very innocent as that, was she? After all, she was married now. That marriage had surely been...consummated had it not? Such a thing a veritable requirement! Although, Tobias was quite a curious sort of fellow perhaps....the Were society was different, somehow? Dorian so brushing such concerns from his mind in that moment as his attention so returned in full to the woman before him. That simper of sorts still lingering upon his lips. Surely they could speak frankly with one another, could they not? She was a married woman now, after all, he a married man for some time.To speak of such things not nearly so scandalous as they might have been were they both unwed.
"Ah Mio Caro, I was talking about sex. Sebastian and I were not ill. We spent a lot of time in bed because we were newly married and that is what newly married couples do. Did you and Tobias not do the same?
One eye lifted just so. That question decidedly bold and yet- she was a married woman, they were friends, such things between friends so hardly unacceptable so provided those finer details were not openly discussed. Dorian so meeting her own gaze expectantly before allowing that conversation to drift. His very mention of those paparazzi that all but lived outside their own gates readily prompted that insistence from the woman she could surely help alleviate the problem by chasing them away. Dorian content to meet that idea with a veritable criticism of sorts if only for the fact he was rather assured it was not appropriate for wild animals to chase photographers about outside his home. Amusing though the idea surely was. Raven seeming near baffled by the notion he could not order those photographers away. His head shaking softly then, that warm simper upon his lips all the same.
"They are not my people, I cannot order them not to stand in a free street that I do not own. The world does not work as such I fear. I may be King, but I am not their King."
He paused then. Dorian affording raven time to consider that very concept as he reached for that delectable shortbread before biting down softly upon it. The Fae King asking after Tobias then before assuring Raven his own husband was entirely well. Dorian content to query that wedding gift Sebastian and himself had bestowed upon that other couple then. The Monarch rather assured it was the perfect gift for Raven and Tobias. It was unthinkable, after all, that they should have tea in anything other then style. That very nervous look that so overtook Raven then prompted that confusion to his features in turn. Raven quick to insist that gift was too generous and that she feared not only losing a piece but too- her mate stealing from it. Dorian so eyeing his companion curiously now.
"He cannot steal what he owns, Raven. If he wishes to wear those cups as hats then he is entirely welcome to. What one does with one's tea set is at one's discretion. I could not possibly take it back from you. It would be improper for you to start married life without a tea set and i shall only gift you another if you try to return it to me."
That Dorian was, in the polietest possible fashion, veritably challenging her to dare to attempt to return that tea set to him was surely clear. The Monarch rather assured Raven would not test his resolve in this. Dorian determined to do as promise and send her another tea set every time she might try to return the first.
