Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The blonde faerie had not bothered to hesitate in lifting Izzy out of her stroller, snuggling the baby into her chest. And why would she? She'd been left alone with the twins on a regular basis, Nadya having found that she was a much better babysitter than dancer. She had been trusted with their care, and as such, had developed a love for both of the babies that had nearly broken her heart when they'd been sent away. "I've missed you, sugar plum," She cooed at Isabella, grinning as she settled on the carpet with the two babies around her. It was only once they had settled did Nadya answer her earlier question. The girl couldn't help but chuckle at the image of her boyfriend consenting to baby gates and bumpers on corners. "No, I imagine he doesn't think that baby gates will be good for business. Might ruin his badass reputation if he's seen playing with babies." The girl grinned at her tease. "Though, honestly, I'm surprised I don't ruin that reputation. My faerie queen vibe might kill the mob boss look he's got going on." Samantha laughed softly to herself, still utterly delighted to have the babies near her. "But if you want my two cents," The girl said, looking over Izzy's frame at Nadya. "They belong with you. Aiden loves you, he'll do what he can to make it work."

Where once her power had seemingly came in bursts that she couldn't control, the bubbles that she created now looked as effortless as breathing. It was only once the twins' eyes were wide as saucers on the bubbles did she look over at the brunette girl who was seeming to look anywhere but at her. She could feel the slight tinge of despair on the other woman, and it caused the youthful fae to cock her head to the side. "Naddy?" She asked, frowning slightly when the attention was entirely diverted to the reason that she had brought the woman over in the first place. She'd just opened her mouth to reply when the baby in front of her hoisted herself to her feet and pattered along after a bubble that had gotten away from her. She couldn't help but grin. "A mother's worst nightmare, no?" She looked over at Micah. "You going to let your sister run off and get the bubble?" She cooed at him before she flicked her wrist in front of him, producing more bubbles to entertain him with. At the offer of babysitting, Samantha couldn't help but nod. "No, of course. I am more than happy to turn over my reins to you. Honestly, the girls have started calling me Your Majesty, and the worst part is is that they're not kidding, they're following protocol." She shrugged sheepishly. "It's still weird, and I'm more than happy to cuddle with these guys so that you can do the work."

It was only once that was established did the blonde return to the subject at hand, grinning as she hauled herself to her feet, going over to the dining room table. She moved aside the dress that covered her purse. It was a sparkly thing, made from extra fabric she'd found at the burlesque one night when she was bored. She was hoping to give it to one of the girls as a new costume considering that the ones they were wearing seemed to fall apart â€" mass produced garments tended to have buttons that didn't stay on and hems that were uneven. Once upon a time, back when she was human, the girl had dreamed of being a designer. But that was lost now in her supernatural state, the dream one that she had put in the not possible pile. The dress was hardly her focus, however, but instead the box of red hair dye that sat beneath it.

Within moments she was thrusting the box into Nadya's hands, sitting down beside her once again. "This may sound completely stupid, but I overheard Jackal talking to one of the bartenders the other night about how he was surprised Aiden ended up with me, because he likes redheads. I don't know if it's true or anything, but I've always wanted to try red hair, and I thought... if he might like it, it's worth a shot. But I realized pretty quickly that I have no idea how to dye my own hair, and Dorian is not the type to involve in this. He'd probably tell me it's witchcraft. So I thought about you. Because you're my best girl friend, and that's the person you're supposed to call in times like this, right?" The girl flashed Nadya a sheepish smile, hoping that her fondness for Nadya was as mutual as she thought it was.
