Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

These few moments in which the vampire's lips so fervently meet his own serve to do little more than remind Dorian so entirely of what he had been missing these past two weeks. He had believed so entirely that he had the taste and feel of his companions kiss so wholly memorized and yet still it was somehow sweeter, somehow far more exceptional then he remembered. The presence of the servant is wholly forgotten, Dorian's attention fixated upon Sebastian alone and the want the man so seemed to spark within himself. He desired every part of his companion here and now, the car so suddenly seeming to be an entirely acceptable place with which to bestow that affection upon the man he so adored and yet too- Dorian merely strove to be closer to him in the most simplistic of ways. His hand runs so easily along the man's leg, surely stoking the vampires own want, the way in which he responds hardly missed. Yet too- Dorian feeds his own perhaps selfish desire to simply touch more of him and draw him closer still. How ridiculous it was that he had taken this man three times over already and yet still the Fae finds himself far from done. Such things however, had ceased to be about simply sex so long ago. He craves his companion in the physical sense entirely, Sebastian never disappointing in the slightest in such a regard and yet the Fae King finds himself near afflicted with a need to simply love his companion in every way.

It is only their unfortunate arrival at whatever destination Sebastian had chosen that so seems to force an end to this all-too brief reunion, the fairy moving to follow his companion onto the sidewalk and into what he had so wrongly believed to be the Aquarium. The notion of a restaurant is yet another of the mysteries of the modern world, the silver hue of the King's eyes holding within them no small amount of curiosity as they move through the building and in the wake of the servant whom guides them. Sebastian's assurance that the Aquarium is indeed still to come momentarily sees that look of surprise once more trace the eternal youth of his features, Dorian pausing, briefly, to peer about the room with no small sense of intrigue before falling into step with his lover once more. The woman moves to lead them towards a table quite at the rear of the room, one situated beside one of the largest windows the man has surely ever seen. His gaze widens once more at the sight of the forest that stretches out below, Dorian paused for several moments to merely peer down upon it- the waterfall so suddenly seizing his attention and too- coaxing that infamous simper to his lips at the sight of it.

"I have such a thing as this at home- but this one is far nicer."

Indeed, this waterfall, within its natural state, is surely far more impressive than the one that had been so guided by human hand to tumble within his own garden. Dorian remains content for several more seconds to merely appreciate the view that surrounds them, the man, despite the grandeur of his own title and indeed his upbringing amongst the monarchy was perhaps within himself- strikingly easy to please. Dorian content to find pleasure in even these most simply of things until the woman so gestures for him to sit. He moves easily to take his place upon the opposite side to his companion, noting only now the true intimacy of the setting in which he had found himself. The dimmed lights and single candle providing a sensation of warmth, in a fashion, one Dorian found he distinctly enjoyed in this moment. His gaze flickers briefly at the appearance of another servant, this one moving to pour what even Dorian can recognise is wine- though indeed it holds a far richer appearance then the wine of his own time. Sebastian's voice so readily draws his attention away from the glass, silver gaze finding the man's own now, Dorian nodding softly in response- his own voice shifting to that same gentle tone that so seemed to suit the atmosphere the vampire had so perfectly created.

"Of course, it was when we went to the marketplace and we had the fish with the potato that came within the paper wrapping."

He remembers such a night entirely well, the gardens of glass Sebastian had shown to him afterwards remembered with a near equal pleasure to the moments shared upon the bench. Dorian had found himself partial to the paper wrapped food if only for that mixture of salt and sweetness it so seemed to provide him with. It is the vampires assurance however, that this evening was his fulfilling of another promise made, that so seems to tease that smile to the man's features once more. He remembered the promise though indeed he had perhaps not anticipated Sebastian to fulfill it so soon or with such grandeur and yet Dorian hardly finds any displeasure in such a thing.

"This is the first time I have ever been to a restaurant, as you call it. This I will not forget. Thank you- it is, all of it, perfect."

His words in this are entirely sincere, Dorian assured he would not forget this, not for as long as he might be given to live- Sebastian so seeming to provide him with an endless plethora of firsts in so very many ways as no other ever has. His hand reaches easily forward once more, resting it softly atop the cool of the vampires own in this subtle show of appreciation before the gifts he had seen within the car are pressed towards him- inquisitiveness seeming to find him once more as he moves to take them. He is assured he hardly needs such things, Sebastian's return gift enough in itself and yet he understands well how things are done, that such presents were, in a fashion, an attempt to by the vampire to make up for his departure. Dorian long since having forgiven it and yet he can hardly hide his intrigue all the same.

"Might I open them now?"

He inquires briefly, fingers moving to pull at the paper of the first wrapped box once he is assured such a gift is designed to be opened in this moment.
