Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
She seems pleased that I want to meet with the fairy queen, a mischeveous grin on her lips as she smooths out my collar and mutters about her being a stupid girl. It's easy enough to make her see that we don't need to go see her tonight though. She looks excited for anything, really. Her finger traces across my lips as she asks if she tasted good and I smirk. "Like the very essence of life, itself." I growl back in a low murmur, my steel gray gaze bright and fervent. It's a good thing she has the extra strength of being a Were otherwise she'd be a slave to the bite of vampires. That look of pure joy in her eyes is enough to tell me she enjoyed it as much as I did. It's rare to find it in any other species besides humans. She seems delighted that I plan on keeping her company until dawn. It's almost as if she was disappointed in the past but I won't let that ruin our evening. I don't mind her company at all and I'd like to know more about her before the arrival of the sun takes me back to my place. Of course I thought she'd be just as happy to get high on vampire blood herself but instead she frowns and says she's not a vampire. I chuckle lightly and shake my head. "I know that. I'm offering you strength so you don't go pass out on me somewhere. As it is, you'd be laying against a tombstone if I let you go. Don't you want to have fun? Trust me." I murmur again, gently holding my wrist up for her. I wouldn't force her to drink but I don't think we'd get far without her regaining her strength. She's basically pudding in my arms right now. Finally she says okay and leans toward my wrist. I don't try to push it along. I have a lifetime of patience, after all. I continue to hold my arm right where it is, giving her all the time to get adjusted to this new sensation. I can tell by her hesitancy that she's never done this before. It's usually a favorite Were pastime. I've seen my kind kidnapped and kept hostage just so whole packs can feed on their blood until they're dead. It's never a pretty sight. When she finally gets a taste, I can tell because her whole demeanor changes and she starts to drink with more passion. I let her get plenty before I gently grab her shoulder with one hand. "Easy now, killer. You've had enough to give you a high for days. Don't you want to finish our date? I've got fun things in store." I whisper in her ear coaxingly. |
