It had been quite a while since she last saw the raven-haired woman. After she and Azrael helped rescue the witch from the Fae and his thugs, both agreed the woman needed protection. While the Dark Hunter worked on configuring the house with better security measures, Raven ensured that Serafina's shop be added to her watch. They may not be able to walk with her every waking second, but they could at least provide the woman some sort of security. It had taken a bit of effort and work to get her spotted companion on board, but eventually he too would keep an eye on the witch, without her knowing. Raven wanted the witch to be the very first person, outside her pack, to know about her engagement. As soon as she was finished she headed over to the kitchens to create and pack up a lunch to take. Even though the lupine wanted to tell the witch the good news, she at least wanted to do something kind, and maybe try to come up with a clever way to surprise her!
It had been raining all week, and the forecast promised for some more. Luckily for her the rain had stopped falling giving her the chance to head on out. With her basket full of food the lupine hurried down the dark alleyways heading towards the familiar warehouse. As soon as she made it to the shop she took a minute to steady her breath and steel her nerves. She wasn't supposed to appear all excited and giddy if she was going to pull this surprise off...although she still had no idea how she was going to do it. Keeping her left hand at her side, the sleeve from her bulky jacket, covering her hand completely, she entered the warehouse searching for the witch she was bound to. Heading towards the register she was puzzled to not see the witch their first. So, she decided to wander around the aisle and still not finding a trace of her. She knew the witch was here, she could smell her, she just had no idea where she was until she made her way to the far back of the building. There she found the woman doing, well, something with potions. Softly she spoke not wanting to spook the woman, as she lifted her basket of food up for her to see.
