The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.

Yumi is not a vampire I think I'd ever easily forget. She may be shy and a litte withdrawn but her easy grace and modesty make her a refreshing face to talk to on occasion. Vampires are known to be an arrogant species but she isn't like that at all. The only way I can get her to come out of her shell any is to have her bite someone with that sort of personality which is intriguing in itself. I hope she stays this way.
I can only wonder at what she must have been like as a human before her change. Perhaps she was just as shy, maybe an aspiring artist or one of those oddities that go to the poem nights clubs and talks complete nonsense on stage in front of a bunch of strangers. Maybe she was going to be a singer or even an actress. Or maybe she didn't know what she wanted to be at all. She could have been completely different than she is as a vampire. She could have been outgoing and popular, the girl who knew everyone. I'm just glad to know her now.
She doesn't seem to believe that I would go through all that effort just to find her but it's true. I was hoping that she didn't think I had abandoned her and left Sacrosanct or joined another coven. I knew that Isolt and she would get along just fine. I figured Isolt would look over her in my absence.
I admit to having a journal and she says that she always wanted to keep one but never knew what to write in it. I shrug lightly. "Everything. I acount even the most boring details of my day because you never know the tiny memories you may want to relive later on down the road." I hope that helps her. I can see curiosity shining in her eyes but that collection is hidden well away from all prying eyes. I do like my secrecy after all.
She shrugs it off when I apologize for leaving so suddenly, saying that I probably had important things to take care of. My eyes spark as something comes to me and I lower my voice a little and lean against the book shelf. "Life and death importance. I actually could use your help on some research if you'd like to help. I need more information on a witch coven known as the New Eden. It seems they have a prophecy of a fanged angel with long flaming locks, one who will somehow give birth to the one they call Eve and be a very important figure in the world to come. I worried for Isolt as you can imagine and went to do some recon but I was captured."
I scowl, not wanting to think back too much on those dark times when I couldn't return to Sacrosanct.
I show her the ring I plan to give Isolt and she caresses the ring, looking at it with awe. She says that it's perfect and that Isolt will love it. I smile, slowly closing the box and putting it back in my pocket. "Thank you. Your input means a lot."
She tells me that she made a new friend and gives his name. I chew on the name for a few minutes, wondering where I might have heard it before but I can't place it so I shrug it off and nod. I don't like the fact that he's a dark hunter which my eyes clearly show when she mentions that but I let her continue. "Please be careful. I would hate to see something happen to you and we are usually number one of their list of targets."
She tells me that she moved in with Isolt and that they live in a townhouse. I tilt my head thoughtfully before shaking my head. "No, I wasn't aware Isolt had moved actually. I don't think I've been to the new place yet so I'll have to come for a tour sometime."
